KVPY 2019 is a computer-based exam which is conducted in English and Hindi language. The exam conducting body has already released the exam pattern of KVPY and students need to view it carefully. The test duration of the exam is 3hrs.

Highlights of KVPY Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of Examination: Online
  • Exam Timing: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm SA and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for SX/SB 
  • Duration of Exam: 3hrs
  • Type of Questions: MCQ
  • No. of questions: SA Paper - 80 & SB/SX Paper - 120
  • Total Marks: SA Paper - 100 and for SB/SX paper - 120 marks

KVPY 2019 Exam Pattern (SA Stream): 

There are 4 sections in the exam pattern i.e. Physics, Math, Biology and Chemistry each section has 20 questions in Part 1 and 10 questions each in Part 2. Total marks for each section is 25.

KVPY 2019 Exam Pattern (SB and SX Stream):

There are 4 sections in the exam pattern; Physics, Math, Biology and Chemistry each section has 20 questions in Part 1 and 10 questions each in Part 2. Total marks for each section is 40.
