What is IBSAT?
IBSAT Exam is an online test hence, IBSAT 2023 Exam would be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT). It is an MBA entrance examination conducted for admission to the MBA Program offered at ICFAI Business School across the country. IBSAT 2023 is scheduled to be held in the last week of December 2023. The exam duration for IBSAT is 2 hours.
Candidates willing to take IBSAT 2023 must ensure that they stand eligible as per the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institutes. Possessing a bachelor's degree in any discipline and securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university is the minimum qualification that students must possess while applying for the exam. The duration of the computer-based test is 2 hours and the questions asked in the exam would be Multiple-Choice type questions. These questions are purely based on areas such as Verbal Ability, Quantitative Techniques, and Reasoning Ability. The IBSAT exam is conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Declared as a deemed to be university) for students seeking admission to the below-mentioned programs:

IBSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to apply for IBSAT 2023 must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements defined by IBS. They would not be granted admission if they do not stand eligible for the particular they are willing to apply for. The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has defined a set of IBSAT Eligibility Criteria for students willing to take IBSAT 2023.
Below is a brief overview of IBSAT Eligibility criteria:
Candidates seeking admission must possess a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university.

The medium of instruction in their respective college must be English. In case the medium of instruction is any other language than English, candidates would be required to submit their score on any of the entrance examinations such as TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS by 31st May 2022.

They must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation.
- There is no age restriction for students applying for the exam.
IBSAT 2023 Admit Card
The IBSAT 2023 Admit Card will be released on November 1, 2023. Candidates can download their admit card from the IBSAT website by entering their application number and date of birth. The IBSAT 2023 exam will be held on December 23-24, 2023. Candidates will have to book a slot to appear for the IBSAT exam. The slot booking window will open on October 16, 2023. To book a slot, candidates will need to enter their application number, date of birth, and the exam city. You will also need to select the date and time of the IBSAT exam. Once candidates have booked a slot, they will be able to download their admit card. IBSAT admit card will contain the following information:

The application procedure for IBSAT 2023 began on 1st July 2023 and is still in progress. The application procedure for IBSAT 2023 will continue till 16th December 2023. Students willing to apply for the IBSAT exam and appear in it can visit the official website of IBS i.e. (www.ibsindia.org) and register themselves for the examination. Students can register themselves through both online and offline modes.
Things you must know before applying for the exam:

Interested candidates must ensure that they possess all the prerequisites in order to apply for IBSAT 2023. These would include a valid email address, telephone number, and a valid and permanent address. They must also keep with them mark sheets of classes 10th and 12th to calculate the percentage and fill the form correctly.

Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct details while filling out the application form as any incorrect detail will lead to the cancelation of their candidature and would even refrain them from entering the examination hall.
IBSAT 2023 Application Form Fees
The IBSAT 2023 registration fee is Rs. 1800. The fee is the same for all candidates, regardless of their category. The IBSAT registration fee can be paid online or offline. To pay the IBSAT registration fee online, candidates can use a debit card, credit card, or net banking. To pay the IBSAT registration fee offline, candidates can purchase a demand draft or pay cash at any IBS marketing branch. If in case, an applicant is unable to pay the IBSAT registration fee by the deadline, they will not be able to take the exam.

Guidelines to Fill IBSAT 2023 Application Form
IBSAT 2023 Application procedure started on 1st July 2023 and is in progress. The last date to fill out the application form for IBSAT 2020 is in the last week of December 2023. Interested candidates can register themselves on the official website of IBS by filling out the application form available there. They must also process the payment of the application fee of INR 1800 while filling IBSAT Application Form. The payment must be made through any online payment mode such as net banking, credit card, or debit card. Besides, the IBSAT Application form can also be filled through offline mode and students opting for offline mode can purchase IBSAT application form from IBS centers.

Candidates must ensure that they fill out the IBSAT application form by providing their correct details as any incorrect detail may lead to the cancellation of their candidature.

They must upload their recent and colored passport-sized photograph in the specified format.

They must also mention the exam they will be applying based on. Exams such as IBSAT or GMAT, CAT or NMAT by GMAC.
- Before submitting the application, candidates must read the information entered by them correctly and then navigate to and click on ‘I Agree'.
IBSAT 2023 Results
The IBSAT 2023 results will be announced on January 10, 2024. Candidates can check their results on the IBSAT website by entering their application number and date of birth. The cut-off for the IBSAT 2023 exam was 75%. This means that only candidates who scored 75% or above in the exam were eligible to proceed to the next round of selection, which is the GD-PI round.
The GD-PI round will be held in February 2024. The GD-PI round is a two-stage process. In the first stage, candidates will be divided into groups of 10-12 candidates. Each group will be given a topic to discuss. The candidates will have to discuss the topic and come up with a solution. The GD will be evaluated on the following parameters:
