IBSAT 2023 Latest Updates:

ICFAI Business School has extended the deadline for completing the IBSAT 2023 registration form until December 20. Previously, the deadline for submitting an IBSAT application form was December 16.   The IBSAT 2023 slot reservation is ongoing. IBSAT exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 23 and 24, 2023. If you're eyeing admission to the MBA/PGDM programs at any of the 9 IBS campuses, taking the IBSAT 2023 exam is mandatory. 

Once the candidates have registered, they can book their exam slot and download their admit card before the exam date from the official website.  For those candidates who are interested in applying for IBSAT 2023, there's still time to apply, as registrations are ongoing at ibsindia.org.

The IBSAT registration fee is INR 1800, and payment methods accepted include credit/debit/net banking or UPI. The registration process is divided into four steps: creating a profile, reviewing entered information, paying the application fee, and submitting the application form.

What is IBSAT?

ICFAI Foundation for higher education organizes a national examination called the IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT). It's the key to getting into respected MBA/PGPM programs at nine ICFAI Business Schools. It is a two-hour examination held on Computer Based Test (CBT) online mode

The test consists of  multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted in two days in December.The examination dates for IBSAT 2023 are December 23 and 24, 2023. Candidates should excel in the examination because these scores are considered by the IBS schools.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the IBSAT 2023 exam:

  • Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any field, having scored at least a mean grade of 50% overall.
  • All candidates need to have good proficiency in English. If they do not, they would have had to submit TOEFL /NELT/IELTS scores.
  • Students who are in their final years and applicants should also be accommodated.
  • Direct admission is available to candidates with a valid GMAT, CAT, or NMAT score from GMAC without having to sit for the IBSAT.

IBSAT 2023 Application Process

The online registrations for IBSAT exam 2023 conducted by ICFAI Business School began on July 1, 2023. Interested candidates will be able to fill IBSAT 2023 application form on the official site until December 16. During this process, candidates will be required to make payment of IBSAT 2023 application fee amounting to Rs 1,800 and upload all necessary documents

How to Fill IBSAT Application Form?

The steps for IBSAT registration 2023 are as follows:

  • Candidates can go to the official website @ibsindia.org, and click on Apply Online.
  • Provide all the essential details of personal data, including your complete address and telephone number and send an e-mail.
  • Click on submit the application.
  • In the next step, the candidates have to login again with their designated application ID and a one-time password that was generated in the preceding stage.
  • Provide your personal and academic details in the IBSAT 2023 application form.
  • Ensure that you upload the photograph and signature according to the specified format and size.
  • Submit a payment receipt of INR 1800 via online payment gateways.
  • To submit the form, click the 'Finish' button.

IBSAT Syllabus 2023

The IBSAT 2023 syllabus is not specified by IBS. However,drawing insights from the content of past year question papers, it's observed that the subject matter covered in IBSAT 2023 aligns closely with the renowned CAT examination. The syllabus for the IBSAT in 2023 will be split into four sections. They are as follows:

Section-2: Reading Comprehension

Reading comprehension is a separate portion of the IBSAT syllabus with thirty questions.

The IBSAT is a timed exam in which students must answer 140 questions in two hours. Keeping this in mind, candidates should plan an IBSAT preparation schedule that covers key topics from the syllabus. IBSAT 2023 Selection Process

The selection process is scheduled to take place between the last week of February and the first week of March 2024 at IBS Hyderabad. The selection procedure for IBSAT 2023 follows a two-step approach:

In the first step, candidates undergo the IBS Aptitude Test. After the release of the IBSAT exam results, IBS institute shortlists candidates based on their own predefined cut-offs. Those shortlisted were subsequently invited for IBS selection briefings starting form the second week of January 2024.

In the second step of the IBSAT selection process, IBS Hyderabad will conduct Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) on its campus. The final merit list preparation considers factors such as candidates' academic performance and work experience, in addition to the IBSAT score.
