XLRI Jamshedpur has announced the exam date of XAT 2021 and the exam is all set to be conducted on 3rd January 2021 i.e. Sunday. The registration procedure of XAT 2021 has been commenced by XLRI Jamshedpur. The registration procedure started from 12th September 2020 and will continue until 30th November 2020. Candidates interested in applying for and taking the exam can visit the official website of XAT, xatonline.in and register themselves. Candidates must also ensure to process the payment of INR 1750 as application fee while registering themselves for XAT 2021. The notification of XAT 2021 was released by XLRI during the evening of 7th September 2020 wherein the important dates and key details were announced by the examination conducting authority. Despite COVID-19 situation across the country, XLRI has decided to conduct XAT 2021 as a center-based test across 72 cities in the country on 3rd January 2021.

Changes Introduced in XAT 2021 Exam

There are a few changes that XLRI Jamshedpur has brought in XAT 2021 Exam. These changes are mentioned below:

XAT 2021 Application Fee has now been increased to INR 1750 to INR 1700.

XAT 2021 would be a Computer Based Test.

It will be a single slot exam.

Test timing will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Total number of questions increased from 99 to 100.

Essay Writing Test has been removed.

There are NAT questions introduced by XLRI Jamshedpur with no negative marking.

All the questions are of MCQ type.

General Knowledge section will not be considered for percentile calculation.

There will be no negative marking for questions asked in General Knowledge section.

Candidates will be rewarded with 1 mark for each correct answer.

0.25% of the total mark of question will be deducted as penalty.

Candidates with visually impaired condition will be provided additional 25 minutes to solve part 1 of the question paper.

The Xavier Aptitude Test prominently known as XAT is a National Level Entrance Test conducted by Xavier School of Management (XLRI) on account of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). XAT is conducted every year to select potential students for management programs offered by top business schools, associated with the institution as part of XAMI. XAT Eligibility
One of the most important things that students applying for XAT 2021 must keep in mind is XAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria. XAT Exam Pattern
As per XAT 2021 Exam Pattern , the XAT question paper is divided into two parts depending on the type of questions, one is objective type and the other one is subjective type. The examination pattern can also be divided into moderate and difficult depending upon the difficulty level of the examination.
The question paper is divided in 2 parts namely Part 1 and Part 2 contributing to a total of 99 questions. The two papers need to be attempted in a single slot of the exam in the given time period of 3 hours.
XAT Question Paper consists of 99 questions and it is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The question paper needs to be completed in 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours wherein there is no sectional time limit to attempt these questions.
