What is GPAT ?

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. GPAT 2020 Eligibility

AICTE had released the GPAT Eligibility criteria. In order to get admitted to the Master of Pharmacy programmes, students would be required to apply for GPAT. Prior to applying, the candidate should know and fulfill the relevant eligibility criteria for which the GPAT Application form would be available from the first week of November. About 30,000 candidates would be giving the GPAT Exam this year. GPAT Score would be accepted by all AICTE approved institutions. 
 
The eligibility criteria for GPAT 2020 is as below:
  • A candidate should be a citizen of India
  • They must be Bachelor's degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates)
  • Those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.
  • There is no age restriction for the exam.
  • Candidates with a lateral entry in bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply.

GPAT 2020 Application Procedure

The online registration for GPAT is a 3 step process:
 
Step 1: Self Registration
 
Candidates first need to enter few basic details in this step. One has to ensure he/she enters the correct details on this Self Registration form and verify it before clicking on SUBMIT button on this page. Once the page is submitted, candidates cannot edit any data entered on this page. Submitting this page will generate a unique 6 digit password. This password will be shown on your screen and will be sent to you via E-mail and SMS. 
 
Step 2: Payment Process
 
The payment can be made via two modes:
- Online
- Cash
 
Step 3: Fill the Remaining Part of the Form
 
Once a candidate is done with the payment, the remaining part of the form has to be completed. After filling the entire form it us recommeded to click on the View/Modify button. In case there are any changes to be made, candidates can make the required changes before submission of the GPAT Application Form.

Application Fees

The GPAT Application Procedure usually began in the month of November and would be ending in December second week. The registration would be ending at 10 am on the last date. The Important Documents which are required to fill the application form is mentioned in the brochure and should be kept with the candidates handy before applying for the examination. The complete details in the information brochure relating to GPAT Eligibility and application form details would be available. GPAT Registration would be compulsorily be required to complete before the last dates of registration for GPAT.

Candidates wishing to appear for Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education would be required to register for GPAT as per schedule. The relevant dates for GPAT Registration are as follows:

  1. Registration starting from - 18th October 2019 (Tentative)
  2. Registration ending on - 18th December 2019 (Tentative)
  3. GPAT 2020 Exam - 20 January 2020 (Tentative)

Fees for GPAT Exam 2020:

  • For General & OBC candidates: Rs. 1400+ bank charges are applicable.
  • SC/ST/PD and Female Candidates: Rs. 700+bank charges applicable.

GPAT 2020 Admit Card

GPAT Admit Card 2020 will be released in an online mode. It will be accessible from January 2020. GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is a national level online test. GPAT 2019 Question Paper Analysis

Until 2009, the pattern of the examination was a combination of objective, fill in the blanks and match the following type of questions. From the year 2010, the GPAT Exam Pattern was totally changed to the Objective Type. The count of Objective questions is changed from year to year.   • The above-mentioned tricks would help them qualify GPAT Exam but only a high GPAT Percentile the candidates would be required to go through all basic textbooks.
