Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is the entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges, which is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates would be required to attempt UPSEE Paper 1 2018 for getting admitted into Btech courses in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates would be required to meet the UPSEE Eligibility criteria of UPSEE such as age limit, pass percentage and the specified qualifying exam prior to filling the UPSEE Application Form. The UPSEE Application Form would be available from the third week of January 2018. 

UPSEE Examination would be held across 41 cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh and 8 cities more all over India. UPSEE 2018 Exam Pattern

The UPSEE Exam Pattern is to give an idea to the aspirants about the structure and pattern of the UPSEE Examination. The features of the UPSEE Exam Pattern are:
 
Course: It is conducted for admission to the first year of B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA/MCA and furthermore for entrance into the second year of B.Tech/B.Pharm/MCA courses. 
 
Number of Questions: Varies from paper to paper. 
 
Question Paper Type: In the examination, Objective Type Questions (with the exception of drawing fitness test for paper 4). 
 
Subjects: Different for each paper.

UPSEE 2018 Counseling Details

AKTU, Lucknow would be conducting UPSEE 2017 counseling for admissions to undergraduate courses in B.tech/B.E programmes across the state. Candidates who qualify UPSEE would be eligible to apply and would appear for UPSEE.

Applicants would be required to register and report online for the purpose of document verification before filling their choices of colleges and courses.

Candidates would have to confirm their seats by paying admission fees once seat allotment is done.

The Counselling would be held in 2 phases followed by a phase exclusively for reserved category students.

Registration must be done only once.

Non-UP Candidates passing the qualifying exam from outside UP on the basis of merit can apply for 10% of seats in the private institutions affiliated to AKTU subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions.

Any vacant seats after that may be open to candidates on the basis of JEE Main scores or 12th grade performance.
