NMAT 2017 Question Paper Analysis

Section Wise Analysis:

Quantitative Skills

  • Candidates with more than 34 accurate attempts can hope to score well in the section.

Language Skills

  • This section was quite easy than expected, and the questions could be attempted within the given time frame. There were two passages of medium difficulty level.
  • Candidates with more than 18 accurate attempts can hope to score well in the section.

Logical Reasoning

Subject Experts

Madhur Mehta NMAT Topper shared his thoughts regarding NMAT Exam:

  • Initially, I spent time in clearing my doubts and learning the basics. Once my doubts were cleared and my basics were strong, I started with the mock tests. I made sure that each day I spend a minimum of 3 hours for solving problems. For cracking NMAT with a good score a person needs to increase his speed of solving problems and this was my basic strategy.
  • I think coaching classes help you to clear your basics along with study materials and mock tests. But in the end, it is the student himself who need to put efforts to crack any MBA exam. If a student is determined by what he wants, then he can get through the entrance exams without any coaching or mentoring.

Preparation Tips:

  • To prepare for language skills it is necessary to read a lot of books and concentrate on increasing your vocabulary.
  • For Quantitative Skills, it is important to clear the basics thoroughly and then practice problem-solving. QS requires time management and accuracy, so one needs to get used to problem-solving at a fast speed.
  • Logical Reasoning practice is very important, you must practice and solve a lot of problems as the questions are easy but are very much time-consuming.
