MBA in Banking & Finance Management: Eligibility Criteria

The MBA banking and finance admission process depends on its eligibility criteria, which vary from one university to another based on student intake, reputation, and ranking. The MBA in Banking admission process is done through a merit list or through a management quota.

  1. Top institutions only admit students through a qualifying quota that calculates cut-off scores using entrance exam scores and undergraduate percentages. Under the management quota, students have to pay a certain amount as the capitation fee for admission.
  2. To be eligible to pursue this course, candidates must have a BBA/ Bachelor's degree in Banking or an equivalent degree from any recognized university.
  3. Apart from this, candidates should get an average of 55% marks or 6 GPA point scale in the bachelor's degree. The percentage may vary from one college to another.
  4. Candidate must be the age of 21 years at the time of applying for the examination.
  5. Many MBA colleges and entrance exams offer a 5% graduation relaxation for SC/ST/PwD/OBC categories.
