New Update About SNAP 2024
IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

SIU will conduct SNAP 2024 Exam on 8, 15, and 21 December 2024. Symbiosis International University, Pune commenced SNAP 2024 Registration on 5 August and the last date to fill SNAP Application Form is November 22, 2024. SNAP Test is conducted in online mode i.e. it's a computer based test (CBT) and there will be three sessions in which the exam will be held. There is no change in SNAP 2024 Syllabus and SNAP Exam Pattern. Since SNAP Test is the only gateway to admission to Symbiosis International University (SIU) Constituent Colleges, students who are interested in taking the exam must register themselves before the window closes on November 22 since it is SNAP Registration last date. The SNAP Exam Duration has been reduced to 1 hour and its score will be accepted for MBA Admissions 2024 by 16 Symbiosis Colleges.

What is SNAP Exam?
SNAP Exam is a national level MBA Entrance Exam conducted in online (computer based) mode for admission to more than 26 Management and M. Sc programs offered by 16 Management Institutes affiliated to the Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP full form is Symbiosis National Aptitude Test SNAP which is conducted by Symbiosis International University. SNAP 2024 Exam will analyze students' ability to tackle questions across multiple sections asked in the SNAP Question Paper. The sections asked in SNAP Test include General English, Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

SNAP Registration 2024 has begun on the official website and students who are interested in taking the exam must fill SNAP Application Form online before the application window closes. More About SNAP 2024 Exam
Now the question arises, who all are eligible for the exam? The eligibility for SNAP Test is as same as the other MBA entrance examinations:
The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, a relaxation of 5% is provided i.e. the candidate of the reserved category should have a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks at the graduation level.
The registration process starts with visiting the official website of SNAP. During the registration process, the candidates are required to provide all the required details and the details filled in by them must be authentic and correct as any incorrect detail may lead to cancellation of their candidature. Unlike other qualifying examinations of the country, the application fee for the SNAP Exam is slightly different, the candidates need to pay a registration fee separately for SNAP.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the 16 institutes affiliated by SIU, the candidates must qualify SNAP Examination. Candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university.
There are basic education qualifications required by the university in order to process admission to the various courses. SNAP Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates seeking admission must possess a bachelor's degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD category candidates) from a recognized university.
- For certain MBA specializations, candidates must have studied relevant course in their graduation.
- There is no such age limit to appear in the SNAP Examination as long as the candidates fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria already defined by the university.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved categories must possess at least 45% marks in aggregate to become eligible for admission.
- Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the SNAP Test provided they must obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate at the end of their graduation.
- International students will have to secure a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to eligible to apply for the SNAP 2024 Exam.

SNAP Registration Process 2024
The application procedure for appearing to SNAP Exam must be completed online by visiting the official website of Symbiosis International University i.e. snaptest.org. The candidates must follow the instructions written online and get themselves registered for further process of application.
The registration process is divided in two steps i.e. Registration for SNAP Test and Registration for Programs.
- Visit the official website of SNAP - snaptest.org.
- Click on 'Apply for Symbiosis MBA via SNAP 2024'.
- Go to Register option.
- Register by clicking on ‘New Registration Window'.
- After registration confirm the user id and password sent on Email id and Mobile no.
- Login with the given id and password and start filing the application form.
- Upload passport sized photograph which is not more than 6 months old.
- Enter academic as well as professional details.
- Select SIU Colleges and courses you wish to pursue your career in.
- Candidates must process the payment of INR 2250 along with 18% GST as application fee.
- Candidates must pay INR 1000 per course/college to complete the process.

How to Fill SNAP Application Form?
Step 1 - Register for SNAP 2024 Exam
- Visit the official website of SNAP and click on the registration link to access SNAP login.
- Fill the application form with personal, academic, and communication details.
- Choose SNAP Exam Date as per your preference.
- Upload your recent passport sized photograph.
- Enter the OTP sent to you on you registered email id in order to verify credentials.
- The university will send an email and SMS consisting of SNAP Exam id and password.
Step 2 – Make the Payment of SNAP Application Fee
- Log in to pay SNAP Registration fee.
- Process the payment of INR 2250 for SNAP 2024 Exam via Demand Draft or any online payment mode.
- Submit the duly filled application form and check the status of your candidature.
- Save the form for future reference.
- No changes can be made in SNAP Application Form after it is submitted.
- Payment of SNAP Exam Fees via Demand Draft
Candidates will pay INR 2250 approximately which will include all the charges to be paid. The DD must be on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune and sent to the University. On its receipt, candidates will be able to download their SNAP Admit Card once made available online on the official website of SNAP.
Note* Candidates must note that there will be a program registration fee of INR 1000 as per the previous year, payable per program per institute in addition to the SNAP Registration Fee.
SNAP 2024 Application Form Correction
There will be no corrections allowed in personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Category, SNAP Exam City, and SNAP Exam Date. Candidates are advised to pay extra attention while filling in these details. Candidates can always refer to the admission support team of the university in case any correction is needed in the application form of SNAP Test.

SNAP Exam 2024 will be held on three dates across multiple exam centres across the country. Candidates appearing in the exam must follow the SNAP Exam Guidelines mentioned on their SNAP Admit Card. SNAP 2024 Exam Pattern
SNAP Exam is a Computer Based Test conducting online where in the questions are of two types namely Multiple-Choice Questions and Fill in the Blanks. It used to be a pen paper-based test before 2017 but was later changed to computer based one. Below are some of the important points regarding SNAP Exam Pattern that aspiring students must be aware of:
- There is total 60 questions which are divided among the below mentioned two categories.
- SNAP 2024 will be a computer based test.
- The total number of questions is 60 and total marks is also 60.
- Each question carries 1 mark and for every incorrect answer there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- SNAP General English section will have 15 questions, A-LR section will have 25 questions while QA, DI-DS will have 20 questions in total.
- SNAP Test Duration is 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes.
- SNAP Exam is an objective exam. Each question in SNAP Question Paper will have four options to choose one from and candidates must choose the most appropriate response out of these four options.
- Candidates can take a maximum of three tests for SNAP 2024 and they will have to pay fee for each attempt separately. The higher of the three scores will be taken into consideration for admission.

SNAP Exam Marking Scheme
The students are rewarded with +1 mark for each correct answer. The exam follows negative marking scheme wherein one fourth mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

SNAP Answer Key
SIU will release the SNAP Answer Key soon after the SNAP Test is concluded successfully. Candidates will be required to log in to the official website using their login credentials in order to be able to check their respective answer keys. Candidates will also be facilitated to raise objections till a specified date. In order to do so, they will be required to make the payment of INR 590 including GST per question for which the objection is raised. The amount is refundable in case the objection is found to be valid.

SNAP Selection Process
The selection process of Symbiosis International University for admission to its MBA and PGDM programs consists of two phases namely SNAP Exam and GE-PI-WAT Process. The GE-PI-WAT process helps in shortlisting candidates for the Symbiosis Selection process. GE-PI-WAT stands for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, Written Ability Test qualifying which ensures students' selection in MBA/PGDM Programs offered by the 16 institutes of Symbiosis International University.
SNAP Score secured by candidates is considered to shortlist candidates for the GE-PI-WAT round. After all these rounds are completed, SNAP Cutoff and wait list is released on the official website of each respective SIU Institute.

All About SNAP Exam
All the process of examination is online and after the successful completion of the registration, process candidate will be able to download their respective admit cardsfrom the official website on the scheduled dates mentioned by the conducting body. The final examination will be conducted on 10, 17, and 22 December 2024 in 84 major cities of the country. It is important to know that the examination center will be allocated on basis of the preferences made by the candidate while filling the application form.
After the completion of the examination, the answer sheets will be evaluated, and the qualified students will have to attend the GE-PIWAT to confirm their seat. The process is conducted by each of the constituent institutes individually. The GE-PIWAT is a detailed selection process which includes
- Group Exercise (GE)
- Personal Interaction (PI) and
- Writing Ability Test (WAT)
The selected students will be allotted a seat in a respective college and stream based on their performance in the mentioned stages of the SNAP Test.

What is the exam schedule of SNAP exam and what is the SNAP Last Date to apply 2023??
SNAP 2023 Application Dates are from August 23 to November 23, 2023. Candidates can apply for SNAP Exam even on the last date of the registration process. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 10, 17, and 22, 2023. The SNAP 2023 Admit Card will be released on December 4 for session 1 and December 9 for session 2. As per the notice, SNAP Result is scheduled to be released on January 10, 2024.
How many attempts are allowed in SNAP Exam??
Every students can apply for each session of the SNAP Exam i.e. every student is allowed 3 attempts of SNAP 2023. Candidates can mention their number of attempts while filling the SNAP Application Form. However, there has to be payment of SNAP Exam Fees for each session separately. The fees for snap exam is non refundable. The highest marks secured by candidates in any of the sessions will be considered for admission.
Is SNAP Exam conducted in multiple slots??
No. SNAP Exam is not conducted in multiple slots, though there are three sessions amongst which the exam is conducted. There is a gap of 5-7 days between SNAP Sessions. SNAP Exam is being conducted on December 10, 17, and 22.
Is SNAP exam score the only criterion for SIU MBA admission??
No. Qualifying SNAP Exam is one of the criteria that can get students admission to SIU colleges. After qualifying the exam, candidates are required to clear a personality assessment test which is conducted by the institutes only. This process includes Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview round (PI). These rounds are conducted after the declaration of SNAP Result and the only candidates who get to qualify the SNAP Cutoff fixed by the institutes will be considered for the personality assessment test.
What is the scoring criteria for SNAP Exam??
SNAP is Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. The basic eligibility to take the exam is to possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university securing at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).
What is the MBA Selection Criteria through SNAP??
Candidates are selected based on the SNAP Cutoff of the particular institute one has applied for. Shortlisted candidates are then required to qualify the MBA Admission rounds that are Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test. These rounds are usually conducted in February or March depending on the declaration of SNAP Result.
I am in my final year of graduation. Can I apply for SNAP 2023??
Yes. Students in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the exam. They must mention the same while filling the SNAP Application Form. At the time of admission, candidates must present their scorecards and they must have secured at least 50% marks as per the eligibility criteria.
How many cities can I choose for SNAP Exam??
An applicant can choose up to 3 cities at the time of filling the SNAP Application Form. The examination conducting body will allot the exam center as per students’ preference. In any case, there are no seats available in their chosen centre, candidates will be notified at the time of registration. Candidates are advised to choose their city of residence as their preferred city.
Can I make corrections in my SNAP 2023 Application Form after submission??
No changes can be made in an already submitted snap application form since there is no provision to corrections in application form. If the application form is not submitted and payment has not been made, candidates can make changes in their form.
