The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test also abbreviated as SNAP is a national level examination which is being conducted every year. The mentioned exam is the gateway for the students aspiring to take admissions in programmes like MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS). The exam is conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University (SIU) and is responsible for taking all the decisions regarding the examination and releasing the notifications. All the information is updated time to time on the official website of SNAP i.e. snaptest.org.

SNAP is conducted at end of every year for filling the seats available under various programmes in the 15 colleges affiliated to SIU and spread across the nation. It is mandatory to score the qualifying marks in the SNAP for taking admissions in the above-mentioned programmes in the respective colleges of the Symbiosis group.

Now the question arises, who all are eligible for the exam? The eligibility for SNAP like other MBA entrance examination is same, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, a relaxation of 5% is provided i.e the candidate of the reserved category should have a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks at the graduation level.

The process of examination starts with the registration process of SNAP on its official website. Aspirants need to provide all the required details, which should be authentic and should support the claims of the candidate (in case of applying through reserved category). Unlike other qualifying examination of the country, the application fee for SNAP is slightly different, the candidate need pay registration fee separately for SNAP and respective college candidate wants to apply for.

All the process of examination is online and after the successful completion of the registration, process candidate will be able to download their respective admit cards from the official website on the scheduled dates mentioned by the conducting body. The final examination will be conducted online in various test centres located in 92 major cities of the country. It is important to know that the examination centre will be allocated on basis of the preferences made by the candidate while filling the application form.

After the completion of the examination, the answer sheets will be evaluated and the qualified students will have to attend the GE-PIWAT to confirm their seat. The process is conducted by each of the constituent institutes individually. The GE-PIWAT is a detailed selection process which includes

  •  Group Exercise (GE)

The selected students will be allotted a seat in a respective college and stream based on their performance in the mentioned stages of the SNAP Test.
