The Central Board of Secondary Education has made an announcement that the JEE Main Application Procedure for the JEE Main Examination shall begin tomorrow. Candidates wishing to appear for the examination can apply for the examination from the official site of JEE Main Examination.
The JEE Main Exam would be held on 8th April 2018. That is the date for the JEE Main Offline date while the JEE Main Computer based examination would be taking place on 15th and 16th April 2018. The last date to apply for the JEE Main examination would be January 1, 2018. The JEE Main Application process would be entirely online this year.
The offline copies of the JEE Main Application Form shall not be accepted. The exam fees are set at INR 1000 for General category while INR 250 for candidates belonging to the Reserved categories.
A score of a minimum 75% would be required in Grade 12 examinations or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Board is required to be eligible for JEE Main or JEE Advanced. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, this criteria has been lowered to 65 percent. The candidates can refer to the detailed JEE Main Eligibility.
Once the candidates clear the JEE Main, the candidates become eligible to write the JEE Advanced examination. The candidates also become eligible to get admitted in the Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture courses at the Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology and various Indian Institutes of Information Technology all over India.

Examination Cities
JEE Main would be conducted across various cities and towns all over India. Candidates are required to select 4 cities in the order of preference while filling the JEE Main Application. candidates can visit the JEE Main official website.
