By: Avantika Bhardwaj on May 07, 2021

JEE Main examination is approaching and as the examination is being conducted four times a year i.e. February, March, April, and May Sessions, the candidates will get four chances to qualify the examination. The competition for this exam is at a tough level and the candidate must ensure to do well in the examination in order to get selected. A certain amount of stress always seems to be associated with the country's elite Engineering Examinations i.e. JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is done to provide admission to B. Tech courses in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. This is one of the most important examinations that is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue engineering.

While preparing for JEE Main Exam, candidates are required to have a study plan in place. The most apt and correct JEE Main Preparation plan consists of overall strategy, time to be devoted, study material, mock tests, and previous years' JEE Main Question Papers.

The first two sessions of JEE Main Exam 2021 have been successfully concluded in February and March sessions. The 3rd phase of JEE Main i.e. April session is yet to be conducted. It was first scheduled to be conducted from 27th April to 30th April. Now that all the examinations have been postponed due to global pandemic COVID-19, JEE Main aspirants have been given enough time to prepare for the examination. Majority of students who are willing to take the examination are given four chances to take jee main and qualify it for admission to B. Tech. If students take all four sessions, the best of all these scores will be considered for the final admission. Candidates planning to take any of the sessions of JEE Main must start preparing from this very moment. However, students preparing can ace the exam by just preparing for a few months. It also depends on candidates' ability and their dedication as to when they should start preparing for the exam.
  • Students preparing for the exam must understand that while making a preparation plan, the very first question that might pop up in their head is which factor is more important – how long they should study for or how much they should study. It is better for them to understand where they stand in jee main preparation. They must also develop a clear concept before they start with their preparation. Once you know how to study, to figure out the next step in the process of preparation of jee main will become easier.
  • After JEE Main Syllabus is thoroughly studied by candidates, they can head for mock tests. Taking regular mock tests will help students not only become efficient but also attain accuracy with every solved mock test.
