JEE Main 2019 Admit Card

The JEE Main Admit Card will be released on December 17, 2018. Candidates who register would alone be able to log in and download JEE Main Admit Card. In order to access the Admit Card, the candidates would be required to submit their application number, personal details like pin and date of birth. The Admit Card is an important document that the candidates would be required to keep it safe and produce in the examination venue.

The JEE Main Admit Card will have details of the candidate such as their name, timings of the exam, exam center information, application number and other related details. The candidates will be required to bring in JEE Main Admit Cards with their Identity Proof on the examination day.

The National Testing Agency will be conducting JEE Main examination twice a year. According to the notification released by the NTA, Paper 1 will be conducted in Computer-based mode whereas Paper 2 will be Computer-based for Mathematics and Aptitude test and Paper-pen-based for Drawing test. JEE Main Paper 1 is scheduled to be conducted on January 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2019 and Paper 2 will be conducted on January 8, 2019. JEE Main April attempt will be conducted from April 6, 2019, to April 20, 2019. The Admit Card for April attempt will be released on March 18, 2019.

JEE Main examination is conducted by the NTA for admissions in the participating NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The JEE Main exam is also determined to qualify of the candidates wishing to attempt JEE Advanced.

The candidates who do not possess the JEE Main Admit Card would not be allowed to write the JEE Main Examination.

Steps to download the JEE Main Admit card are mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website of JEE or NTA.
  2. The candidates would have to enter JEE Main Application number, date of birth and security pin.
  3. Submit option would be required to be clicked.
  4. The JEE Main Admit Card would be displayed on the screen.
  5. The candidates would be advised to check all the details in the admit card before download of the same. A printout of the admit card can be taken for future reference.
  6. In case of mistakes in the JEE Main Admit Card, the candidates would be required to report to the JEE Main Secretariat.

JEE Main Admit Card will carry the following details:

  1. Center Number and Center of Examination
  2. Name of the candidate
  3. Name of the Father
  4. Address of the Venue and Locality
  5. City and State Details with Pincode
  6. Email Address and Phone contact details
  7. Course, Date of Examination, Paper and Timings
  8. The medium of Question paper
  9. Gender and Category
  10. Application and Roll Number
  11. Photograph
  12. Signature of the candidate

Candidates unable to download their JEE Main Admit Card on account of problems associated with the discrepancy in their name in comparison with the Board Data, candidates would be able to download Admit Card after making the necessary changes. 

If the JEE Main Application number or password is forgotten by the candidate, he/she shall be able to download the same and recover it. The steps are mentioned as follows:

  1. The JEE Main Admit card has to be visited.
  2. The candidates can click on "I cannot access my account".
  3. The candidates would have to select either of the two options - "Forgot my password" and "Forgot my Application Number".
  4. The problems would be addressed by way of answering a security question, verification code and using a reset link via the email address.
  5. The candidates would be directed to the page where details would have to be filled as per the selection options.
