1) The candidate who is interested in working at the participating banks at the Clerical Cadre Posts has to fill the form from an India state as the IBPS releases the state wise and category wise vacancies every year. 

2) The candidates who will be selected in the IBPS Clerk 2017 exam will be given the provisional allotment to the actual vacancies reported by the participating institutions.

  • The IBPS releases the IBPS Clerk Important Dates in advance. The candidates must keep the track of all the Important dates of IBPS Clerk in advance. 
  • IBPS has set some rules to participate in the examination process. The candidates must check the IBPS Clerk eligibility criteria before applying to the IBPS Clerk exam.

Along with the Admit card at the center, the candidate has to carry one ID proof. The ID proof can be Driving Licence, Aadhar card, Voer ID card, Ration card, Passport. 

Document verification procedure:

After the final selection of the candidate, the selected candidate is given the provisional allotment to the participating institutions and a background checking done by the Bank. Here are the requisite documents for the same-

  • Printout of calls letter
  • Online application generated on the system
  • Birthday proof
  • Photo ID proof
  • Mark sheet of Graduation
  • Caste certificate for reservation
  • Medical certificate for candidates who are physically disabled
  • Certificate of experience
  • NOC from departments where candidates are pursuing Government jobs/PSU

 Provisional Allotment:

  • The total marks that would be allotted are 200. Marks would be converted with 100 as the basis for provisional allotment procedure. A candidate should qualify in the exam and be a little high on merit to be considered for the subsequent procedure.
  •  Provisional allotment would be done on the basis of final vacancies as reported by the organizations who participate.
  •  A candidate belonging to the SC/ST/OBC who is selected on the same criteria as general would be considered as selected through merit.
  • The provisional allotment would be done on a merit and preference basis, therefore, no changes would be made in the selection procedure.

There has been a slight change in the format of the Mains exam.It still has the five sections, namely Reasoning, General Aptitude, English, Awareness and Computer Knowledge.This paper has to be attempted in 140 minutes.

However, according to the new format, each section has to be done in a stipulated time format.You cannot go on to the next section till the stipulated time for that section has elapsed.
