IBPS PO preparation-
Strategy for IBPS PO Prelims Exam:
-
The key to clear IBPS PO is Time Management.
-
Never spend too much time on one question, leave the question and move ahead to solve other questions that are easy to attempt.
-
English Language questions take less time to solve, so I attempted this sections first.
-
After that, I attempted Reasoning section in which I am confident with the answers to the questions.
-
I attempted Quantitative Ability section in the last and ensured that the sectional cutoff can be cleared easily.
Strategy for IBPS PO Mains Exam:
Objective Type Questions-
-
The strategy for the same sections of Prelims remained the same. The two additional sections that are there in Mains exam are General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
-
In the reasoning section, I comfortably attempted 25-30 questions as per the time left.
-
I attempted 20-25 questions of the Quantitative Ability section within the remaining time and secured the sectional cutoff.
-
In GK part, I regularly keep updated with the bank related awareness. Bank related figures are significant and every candidate must make notes of the important GK affairs. Most of the questions are asked from the current GK. Also, get yourself updated with the Government Policies.
-
Computer Knowledge section is not tough to crack. A basic book of computer knowledge can suffice the preparation. First, check the nature of questions asked in the paper and select any one book to study for it.
Subjective Type Questions-
-
The subjective acumen of the candidate will be checked through Essay and Letter Writing.
-
This test is cleared and scored on the basis of minimum required facts.
-
The candidates should take care at the beginning and must first get a review about the topic asked in the paper.
-
Recollect the fact related to the topic and write it down on the rough section or keep the facts in mind.
-
Arrange the sequence of the facts and write the whole story revolving around those facts.
-
Facts are important in essays. The presence of facts in your essay helps scoring good marks.
Strategy for IBPS PO Interview:
-
There were four people in the panel in my interview.
-
The questions revolved around my personal and professional life.
-
The key to crack the interview is to be confident and smartly answer the questions by understanding what the interviewer desired to ask from you.
-
Pre-prepare some basic questions about yourself that have a fair probability to be asked in the exam.
