What is LIC AAO ?

LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) conducts an online examination for the appointment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO). There are about 590 vacancies. Life Insurance Corporation invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Generalist Assistant Administrative Officer. Candidates are required to apply online. No other mode of application would be accepted. The test also is conducted in an online mode for the applicants.

To apply for the examination candidate needs to fulfill LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria which includes a bachelor's degree in any field. LIC AAO 2020 Eligibility

The LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria has been detailed as below. A candidate would be required at a minimum to possess a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized institute with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate. The candidate's age has also been prescribed for a minimum of 21 and a maximum age of 30 years.

LIC AAO 2020 Application Procedure

For the LIC AAO Examination, the candidates would be required to go online on the LIC AAO website and click on the link for "Click here for new Registration". The scanned copy of the photograph would be required to be uploaded. The signature would be required to be uploaded as per specification, that would be followed by verification and clicking for submission. The candidate would be subsequently directed to the Pay section where they would be required to pay the mandatory fee before final submission. The candidate would be asked to maintain the required details safely for future correspondence courses.

LIC AAO 2020 Admit Card

Life Insurance Corporation of India will issue LIC AAO Admit Card for the LIC AAO 2019 at least 10 to 15 days prior to the examination. Just those candidates whose application form will be acknowledged by examination expert will be issued LIC AAO, Admit Card. Separate Admit Cards shall be issued for online examination and Personal Interview. The LIC AAO Admit Card shall be issued in an online mode as usual. Candidates can download their LIC AAO Admit Card 2019 by entering registration number and their Date of Birth. Candidates who will qualify the online exam will be issued the LIC AAO Admit card for the meeting. Applicants in the wake of downloading the LIC AAO Admit Card should take a print out and append late photo on the concede card as gave amid enlistment. Candidates should convey the concede card alongside photograph personality verification to the exam focus or else they won't be permitted to show up for the exam. Admit card will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully completed the LIC AAO Registration Process.

LIC AAO 2020 Preparation Tips

  • Online test: On-line test would be of objective type, multiple choice of 2 hours duration, composed of the following:
  • Reasoning ability: 30 questions, 90 marks

  • GK, Current affairs: 30 questions, 60 marks. 
  • 1/4th mark would be deducted for every wrong answer.

It is a 300 mark paper with 160 questions to be attempted in 2 hours.

LIC AAO 2020 Study Material

With over 590 vacancies being offered, the candidates can expect a huge level of competition. The candidates should allot hours for topics on the basis of the probability of the questions from each of those topics. LIC AAO 2020 Result

The LIC AAO Result would be declared in two phases - online examination and personal interview. As per the LIC AAO Result, candidates who would be securing the overall and sectional percentile in the LIC AAO 2019 would be shortlisted for the interview procedure. The answers of the candidates would be analyzed and compared with the entire pool of candidates to select the best among them. If in the analytical procedure, it is found that anything has been tampered with by unnecessary means, the candidature of the concerned applicants stands canceled. The LIC AAO Exam would be conducted for a total of 300 marks containing Reasoning Ability Test, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language Test. 

LIC AAO Cut-Offs

The LIC AAO Cutoff would be released with the LIC AAO Score Card. The Exam will be held for filling 590 vacancies in the Administrative Officer category. The online exams are followed by an interview that would be held in the month of May. LIC has released the sectional and overall cutoffs for the online exam which would be followed by an interview. 

The LIC AAO notification classifies that a candidate would be qualifying for the interview if he fulfills the overall and sectional cutoffs of the online examination.
