LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) conducts an online examination for the appointment of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO). There are about 750 vacancies. Life Insurance Corporation invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Generalist Assistant Administrative Officer. Candidates are required to apply online. No other mode of application would be accepted. The test also is conducted in an online mode for the applicants.

The LIC AAO job profile involves a lot of administrative work more than having face-to-face interaction with customers in general. The list of functions that the one employed in the function includes but would be beyond:

  • Inspection and Analysis of currently trending policies
  • Plan of new schemes/policies
  • Filing and Management
  • Interaction with clients and resolving queries
  • Communication across Departments
  • Performing duties recommended by officer-in-charge.

LIC AAO 2018 Eligibility

The LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria has been detailed as below. A candidate would be required at a minimum to possess a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized institute with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate. LIC AAO 2018 Application Procedure

For the LIC AAO Examination, the candidates would be required to go online on the LIC AAO website and click on the link for "Click here for new Registration". The scanned copy of the photograph would be required to be uploaded. The signature would be required to be uploaded as per specification, that would be followed by verification and clicking for submission. The candidate would be subsequently directed to the Pay section where they would be required to pay the mandatory fee before final submission. LIC AAO 2018 Study Material

With over 750 vacancies being offered, the candidates can expect a huge level of competition. The candidates should allot hours for topics on the basis of the probability of the questions from each of those topics. LIC AAO 2018 Result

The LIC AAO Result would be declared in two phases - online examination and personal interview. As per the LIC AAO Result, candidates who would be securing the overall and sectional percentile in the LIC AAO 2018 would be shortlisted for the interview procedure. The answers of the candidates would be analyzed and compared with the entire pool of candidates to select the best among them. If in the analytical procedure, it is found that anything has been tampered with by unnecessary means, the candidature of the concerned applicants stands canceled. The LIC AAO Exam would be conducted for a total of 300 marks containing Reasoning Ability Test, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language Test. 

Life Insurance Corporation of India would recruit candidates for 750 vacancies. Approximately 2400 vacancies as per category would be called for an interview. Candidates would have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the interview to be shortlisted for the final selection. Shortlisted candidates would be appearing for the pre-recruitment medical examination. Letter of Appointment would be provided to candidates who would be found medically fit. LIC AAO Cut-Offs

The LIC AAO Cutoff would be released with the LIC AAO Score Card. The LIC AAO Exam will be held for filling 750 vacancies in the Administrative Officer category. The online exams are followed by an interview that would be held in the month of May. LIC has released the sectional and overall cutoffs for the online exam which would be followed by an interview.
