What is IBPS RRB ?

Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) schedules the IBPS Common Written Exam for employment in candidates in Regional Rural Banks in two categories - Group A Officers (Scale I,II and III) and Group B Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Government and Financial Organizations. The abbreviated name of this exam is IBPS RRB VI. This is a National Level Examination that is conducted on completion of graduation for about 15,000 vacancies.

The IBPS RRB Preliminary Examination for Office Assistants is slated to be conducted on September 9,10 and 16, 2017 for the post of Officer Scale I. While the Prelims for the post of Office Assistant is slated to be conducted on September 17,23 and 24.

The IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria is a set of conditions that are required to appear for the recruitment test conducted by Regional Rural Banks. It prescribes a set of conditions that the candidates must fulfill to be able to fulfill IBPS RRB Registration requirements.

IBPS RRB 2020 Eligibility

The Eligibility Criteria for the IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Officer of various grades consists of the following components such as Educational Qualification, Age and Work Experience Requirements. The age range of posts is set at a minimum limit of 18 and a maximum limit of 40 for Officer Grade-3 in particular. Those belonging to the reserved categories have corresponding age relaxation. 

While Office Assistants are not required to have work experience as mandatory criteria, Officer (Scale 2 ) General Banking Officer has to have an experience of 2 years. The details of the posts under Specialist Officers in the Officer (Scale 2) is given as below:

IBPS RRB 2020 Application Procedure

Candidates are required to fulfill the below mentioned before undertaking IBPS RRB Application Procedure

  • The photo and signature should be scanned in the required format and size. Photograph(4.5*3.5 cm) and Signature should be in UPPERCASE.
  • Documents required for making online payment of application fee should be scanned and kept.
  • The participant should have an Email ID with password to use for future correspondence
  • The details provided in the form of Application ID and associated information should be retained by the candidate in order to enable changes in the admit card in the future.
