ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test or IBSAT is an entrance examination for admission into the management programs offered by
ICFAI Business Schools (IBS). The application form for
IBSAT 2017 has been released on 1st July 2017. Depending on the performance in the IBSAT exam, the candidates are selected for pursuing the management courses at 9 IBS campuses.

IBSAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2017:

For PGPM and MBA Programs, the candidate must have completed graduation with atleast 50% marks.

Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. They must complete their graduation requirements before May 31, 2018. The admission will remain provisional until they furnish the proof of graduation. The last date for submission of proof is 1st November 2018

A minimum of 15 years of education must have been completed by the candidate (10+2+3 /10+2+4)

The candidate must have studied in an organization with the medium of instruction as English. TOEFL/IELTS/NELT Score must be submitted by the candidates who do not fulfill this criterion by May 31, 2018

For the PhD program, graduation (with min. 50% marks) and a full-time post graduation in management (with min. 55% marks)
OR
-
a post graduation in Economics, Commerce, Economics, Psychology, Statistics or any allied stream (with min. 55% marks)
OR
-
A professional qualification like CA/CWS/CFS /CS (with min. 55% marks)

A minimum of 17 years of education must have been completed by the candidate (10+2+3+2 /10+2+4+2)

Candidates who have completed their Graduation/Post graduation by part time/distance/correspondence are not eligible for the PhD program at IBS Hyderabad.
IBSAT APPLICATION FORM 2017:

The mark sheets of X, XII, Graduation should be kept ready for filling up the percentage marks in each.

After filling up the initial form, an application number and password will be emailed to you.

Logging in with these credentials will take you to the IBSAT Application form. You have to enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and past academic record details.

Candidates will also have to upload a recent passport sized colored photograph in jpeg format. The image should not be more than 25 KB and around 150 pixels.

You can also apply to the programs at IBS using scores obtained in CAT/GMAT/NMAT by GMAC. You must mention in the application form if you are interested in applying to IBS through the scores obtained in the exams mentioned above.

For PhD applicants- MPhil degree holders/candidates qualified in UGC NET/IBS Alumni need not attempt the IBSAT 2017.

Candidates exempted from IBSAT should send their relevant certificates to ibsat@ibsindia.org
OFFLINE-
The IBSAT Application form will be available from any IBS Marketing branches. The candidates will also get a scratch card with their application number and password. You will be able to complete the form only after changing the password obtained from the scratch card.
IBSAT EXAM PATTERN 2017:
It is a computer-based test of 120 minutes. There are four sections with multiple choice questions in each. It is a test of speed and accuracy. Candidates have to attempt 140 questions in 120 minutes. It tests the candidates' general aptitude assessing his capability to carry out the tasks necessary in a management atmosphere.

IBSAT ADMIT CARD 2017:

Candidates can download the IBSAT Admit card from the first week of December. The admit card will be available for the candidates who have successfully completed their registration process.

To download the admit card, the candidates need to fill their registration ID and date of birth on the official website. The admit card will have important details like the test venue and time of the examination. A printed copy of the admit card along with a valid identity proof needs to be taken to the exam centre.

IBSAT RESULT 2017:
The result will be declared on 2nd January 2018. The participating Institutes of ICFAI will shortlist candidates on the basis of their IBSAT scores. The shortlist status will be announced instead of percentile scores. The shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. These will tentatively take place in the last week of February. The candidate's work experience and academic proficiency are also taken into account in determining the final rank. The final merit list will be announced in the first week of March.
