Manipal University is a prestigious institute of education and research in India. The University is located in the Manipal town in Karnataka which is closely located near to the Udupi town. The University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Initially, the institute was formed as Manipal Institute of Technology, but later in 1993, the Institute was awarded the University status with the then name of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The name was later rebranded to Manipal University.

Manipal University offers undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Dentistry, Architecture, Communication, Humanities, Hospitality, Life Sciences, Nursing and European Studies and Foreign Languages.
The University offers postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Dentistry, Architecture, Communication, Humanities, Hospitality, Life Sciences, Nursing, Basic and Advanced Sciences, Information Science, Regenerative Medicine, Geopolitics and International Relations and European Studies and Foreign Languages.
The admissions to the Manipal University is made through the Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MUOET). The interested candidates can fill the online application form which is tentatively available in the month of November every year.
MUOET exam is conducted in the month of April and May every year. The candidate is allowed to give the second attempt if the candidate is not satisfied with the first attempt and the best score of the two is considered for the admission process.
Eligibility for MUOET(Science Stream Non-Medical):
The candidates who want to appear in the MUOET have to pass the 10+2 exam from a recognised central or state board.
The candidates appearing in MUOET must score at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
A candidate must secure at least 50% score in MUOET exam for the admissions in the University.

MUOET Syllabus-
The MUOET topics for the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can be referred from NCERT books. Subject wise topics are given below-
MUOET cutoff for the engineering course varies in accordance to the different streams of engineering. The candidate needs to check out the branch wise cutoff.
The results of MUOET is announced tentatively in the month of May every year, and the counselling starts in the month of July.
