SNAP Exam Pattern 2017:
It is a 2-hour exam with 150 questions divided into four sections. Every correct answer gets you 1 mark. 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidate must use a Black or Blue ball point pen only.

The computer based exam takes place at 32 centres all over India.
SNAP 2017 ELIGIBILITY:

A Bachelors in any discipline with minimum 50%marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST).

Foreign Candidates can also apply. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will provide the candidates with an equivalence certificate.

Some programs require specific subject specialization which needs to be checked from the respective institute.
SNAP REGISTRATION 2017:
-
The form is available only in the online mode. The form will be available until the second week of November 2017.

The personal and educational details should be filled up in the application form. A scanned copy of a recent passport size coloured photograph also needs to be uploaded.

To complete the registration, a non-refundable fee of Rs.1500 must be paid. It can be paid through credit/debit card/net banking, cash or even using a demand draft.
Payment using cash- Rs. 1500 in cash can be paid at any branch of Axis or Indian Bank with the printed copy of the challan generated from the website. The ‘Symbiosis' copy of the stamped challan needs to be posted to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat.
Payment by Demand Draft- A Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1500 payable at Pune in favour of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat'. A payment advice form will be generated which must be signed and filled in by the candidate. This should be sent in along with the DD to the following address-

SNAP ADMIT CARD 2017:
SNAP Admit card 2017 will be available on the website from the first week of December 2017. The admit card will mention the personal details of the candidate as well as the address of the test centre. It should be printed and brought to the Test centre at the time of the examination. SNAP 2017 SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Based on their performance in the SNAP examination, the candidates are shortlisted for the Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability which determines their rank in the final merit list.
The final merit list is prepared in which different weightage is given to each of the three categories-
SNAP Score- 50%
Group Exercise- 10 %
Writing Ability Test- 10%
Personal Interaction- 30%
SNAP RESULT 2017:

The SNAP 2017 results will be released during the second week of January. These shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a GE, PI and WAT test. The final merit will be announced by the last week of February after computing the different scores of the candidates as per the weightage mentioned.

The initial Result cum score card will contain the sectional and overall scores along with the shortlisted status of the candidate. In the final category wise merit list, SNAP marks will be scaled down to 50 from 150 and will be added to the marks obtained in the GD, WAT, and PI.
