Steps to Download the Result of TANCET 2022 Exam:

Anna University successfully concluded TANCET 2022 on 14th and 15th May 2022. Anna University has also announced the TANCET Result 2022 release date on its official website i.e. annauniv.edu. Anna University Conducts TANCET Exam every year for admission to postgraduate programs namely MBA, MCA, M. E., M. Tech, M. Arch, and M. Plan. TANCET 2022 Application Forms will be available once the registration process is commenced. It needs to be done on the official website of TANCET i.e. tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates must process the payment of INR 600 (which is INR 300 for reserved categories) as application fee while filling the application form. The reservation criteria do not stand for students coming from other states. Before filling the application form, candidates are required to register themselves by entering their basic details. There are around 40,000 students apply for TANCET Exam every year. In the year 2021, 38,858 students applied for the examination. Most of the students were unable to take the exam in 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the country.

  • Pattern- 10+2+3/4 years pattern or 10+3 years diploma + 3 years pattern or B.E./ B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or 10+2+AMIE
  • The candidates of the reserved category will be provided a relaxation of 5 percent  

TANCET 2022 Eligibility criteria for MCA candidates:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics and at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • Pattern- 10+2+3/4 years pattern or 10+ 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern or 10+ 2 + AMIE
  • The candidates of the reserved category will be provided a relaxation of 5 percent 

TANCET 2022 Eligibility criteria for M.E./ M. Tech. /M.Arch./ M. Plan.:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.

TANCET 2022 Application Procedure

Step 1: Application Process-

The candidate is required to enter their respective Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email ID and password. After providing these details candidate must submit and create a user account.

Step 2: Academic and Personal Information-

This step includes academic details of the candidate. The details about previous degrees are to be mentioned here which includes Graduation information, year of passing etc. The candidate is also required to mention the course for which they are applying along with the preferred examination centre.

Step 3: Uploading Images-

The candidate is required to upload the following scanned images:

  • Photograph of the candidate in jpg/ jpeg format with the file size between 20 KB to 25 KB.
  • Signature of the candidate in jpg/ jpeg format with the file size between 20 KB to 25 KB.

Step 4: Payment of Registration Fees-

  • The candidate of general category is required to pay INR 600 for each programme i.e. M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.E./ M. Tech./ M. Arch., and M. Plan. The candidate who desires to appear for more than one programme is required to pay INR 600 for each additional programme.
  • The candidate of the reserved category is required to pay INR 300 for each programme i.e. M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.E./ M. Tech./ M. Arch., and M. Plan. The candidate who desires to appear for more than one programme is required to pay INR 300 for each additional programme.

After entering all the required details and paying application fees, the candidate must review the application form carefully. After reviewing details, the form should be submitted.   2. Click on the Admit Card link to proceed to the downloading portal. 
  3. Enter your Application Registration Number and Date of Birth as asked. 
  4. Submit the correct details to see your Admit Card. 
  5. Your TANCET Admit Card/Hall Ticket 2022 will be shown on your screen. 
  6. Save and Download the Admit Card as PDF file.

TANCET 2022 Exam Pattern

TANCET 2022 Counseling Details

  • The Couselling for TANCET 2022 is expected to commence from the last week of July or the first week of August 2022
  • Counselling will be held at Anna University, Chennai-25 
  • Candidates should attend the counselling with all the original certificates. 
  • TANCET Counselling Fee:  Rs 5,300 (Rs 1,150/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu)
  • Payment Mode:  DD or Cash, inclusive of a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 300 (Rs 150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu.

Anna University has released the list of TANCET 2022 Exam Centres on its official website. The number of exam centres has now been reduced to 14 from 15 for TANCET 2022. The university has removed Virudhunagar as an exam centre for TANCET Exam Centres 2022. Applicants of TANCET Exam must carry their TANCET Hall Ticket 2022 to the examination hall.

Evaluation Scheme for M.B.A. –

The Time Duration of TANCET 2022 MBA examination will be 2 hours. The evaluation will be done based on following:

  • The candidate will be evaluated on the basis of identifying the data and applying it to the business decisions.
  • The candidate will be evaluated on the basis of answering the comprehension passages.
  • The evaluation will be done according to the solutions provided for mathematical problems. Mathematics will include plus two level Mathematical problems.
  • The knowledge of English will be evaluated on the basis of figuring out grammatical errors.

Evaluation Scheme for M.C.A. - 

The Time Duration of TANCET 2022 MCA examination will be 2 hours. The questions will be from following sections:

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Analytical Reasoning
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Computer Awareness

Apart from these four sections, questions on Verbal Activity, Basic Science, etc. will also be asked.

The Time Duration of TANCET 2022 Engineering examination will be 2 hours. The question paper will comprise of three papers. The paper I and Paper II of the question paper will be compulsory for each candidate whereas the third section will include the section selected by the candidate during registration.
