The application form for Phase 2 of CUCET 2023 is now open. Candidates can now apply for the first phase of CUCET 2023 until the final date, which is August 30. The application form is available both online and offline.

CUCET 2023 Phase 2 will be conducted from May 30 to August 31 as an online remote-proctored test. Candidates are required to strictly follow the rules and regulations of CUCET 2023 during the examination. They should have a laptop, web camera, and a stable internet connection.

To assist the candidates during CUCET 2023, an exam invigilator will be available on 'Live Chat' to provide guidance and answer their queries. It's important for candidates to make use of this resource. Previously, CUCET Phase 1 was conducted from November 28, 2022, to May 30, 2023. 

What is CUCET Exam?

CUCET, an online entrance test, is conducted by Chandigarh University, which has been accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by NAAC. This national-level examination is mandatory for various programs, including B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering), B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), MBA, Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB), and Integrated Law (LLM).

How to Apply for CUCET Exam 2023?

To apply for CUCET 2023, follow these steps:

  • Go to the official website of CUCET at cucet.cuchd.in.
  • Register on the CUCET registration page by providing your name, email, contact number, and city. This will create your profile.
  • Once registered, you will receive a confirmation message through SMS or email.
  • Pay the registration fee of INR 1,000 after registration using your preferred mode of payment.
  • Fill in your current qualifications, including the school name and subjects.
  • Select the desired CUCET exam date from the available options in the drop-down menu.
  • Review and verify all the information provided in the application form.

Candidates will need to appear for the CUCET examination on the designated date and time through the official portal using their registered login details. The CUCET results will be communicated via email and will also be displayed on the portal.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Before filling out the application form for CUCET 2023, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university. Here is a brief overview of the eligibility criteria for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in CUCET:

Undergraduate Courses (UG):

  • B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering): Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • B.Pharmacy: Candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Pharm D: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

Postgraduate Courses (PG):

  • Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)/Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology)/Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy)/Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry): Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) from a recognized university.
  • MBA (Master of Business Administration): Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream with a minimum aggregate percentage as specified by the university.
  • Integrated Law (LLM): Applicants must possess an LLB degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

CUCET Exam Admit Card 2023

After the submission of the application form for CUCET 2023, candidates can expect the availability of the admit card soon. The CUCET Admit Card will be sent to the candidate's registered email address that was provided during the application process. It will contain the candidate's personal information along with details such as the examination date, time, and center.

In case a candidate does not receive the admit card, it is important to take immediate action. The candidate should promptly report the issue to the office of the university. They can do so by sending their registration details via email to cucet@cumail.in. Additionally, candidates can also contact the admission cell of the university through their helpline number for further assistance.

CUCET Exam Pattern 2023

The CUCET 2023 is an online computer-based test that lasts for a duration of 2 hours. The examination will be conducted in English as the medium of instruction. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), where each question offers four options, and candidates are required to select the correct answer. In terms of scoring, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking or penalty for incorrect answers.

CUCET Exam Result 2023

The CUCET 2023 Result will be announced online on the same day as the exam. Candidates who secure a minimum of 30% marks in the examination will be considered eligible for admission.

The scorecard containing the result will be sent to the candidates' registered email IDs. Following the release of the results, a merit list will be prepared based on the entrance exam scores of the qualified candidates. Those candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be notified through email.

After the result declaration, qualified candidates must submit 30% of the admission fee within 15 days to confirm their admission and avail of the scholarship benefits.

CUCET Scholarships 2023

Chandigarh University (CU) has set aside INR 60 crore for the academic year 2022-23 to provide scholarships. These scholarships are aimed at supporting students who wish to pursue futuristic courses of their choice at North India's central educational hub. The scholarship amount is determined based on the merit of the students.

The merit list is prepared by giving 60% weightage to the marks obtained in the CUCET examination and 40% weightage to the marks obtained in the graduation or Class XII examination, depending on the specific course. The scholarships will be awarded to deserving candidates based on their position in the merit list.
