What is KCET ?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET Karnataka) is the test conducted by the state Govt. to admit students to medical, dental and engineering courses in Karnataka.

KCET 2018 Eligibility

Should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 65% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- (a) Chemistry (b) Biotechnology (c) Biology (d) Computer Scienc

KCET 2018 Admit Card

Admit cards is issued by KEA, to download it candidate can login using credentials issued during form filling.

KCET 2018 Exam Pattern

Candidates who wish to apply for the engineering courses must appear for Physics, Chemistry,and Mathematics. Candidates will have to appear for three exams in each of the mentioned subjects as per the given schedule. Check here Candiates must remember to use only a black or blue ball pen. A total of 60 objective questionswill be asked in each subject Each correct answer will carry 1 mark each. The duration of every exam will be 70 minutes Candidates will be given 80 minutes out of which 10 minutes will have to be utilized to fill /shade their particulars on the OMR answer sheet. There will be no negative marking. Candidates need to affix their left thumb impression on the answer sheet for each session of the exam. The bottom sheet (duplicate) of the OMR Answer sheet will be given to the students while the top sheet will be retained by the invigilator.

KCET 2018 Counseling Details

Karnataka CET 2018 Counselling Procedure is as follows:

1. Candidate Registration:

Candidates, who have been assigned ranks in Karnataka CET 2018, will report to their nearest Helpline centres as per schedule mentioned.

Before the deadlines, candidates have to register at any of 13 helplines. 

For further verification, candidates must register their Karnataka CET 2018 Number in the Computer system at the helpline centre.

2. Document Verification:

Candidates have to report for their Document Verification as per the schedule announced by KEA for Karnataka CET 2018 Counselling. 

They have to bring their original documents for verification during Karnataka CET 2018 Counselling.

A unique User ID and Password will be allotted to every candidate for Karnataka CET 2018 Counselling after completion of the Document Verification process.

Candidates must use Verification Slip and Unique Keyword, printed on the back of the Verification Slip for Option Entry Login purposes.

The Unique Keyword contains 8 alpha-numeric characters.
