GIM - Goa Institute of Management, Goa Admission
Goa Institute of Management has a certain procedure for admission. For admission to different programs offered by the institute, the candidates are required to follow the minimum educational criteria defined by the university. The institute offers Diploma courses in management namely PGDM, PGDM (HCM), PGDM (BDA) and PGDM (Part-time) or MBA executive. The courses are offered under various specializations. There are two campuses of GIM, one that conducts PGDM-PT/EMBA classes named as Ribandar Campus and the other that conducts PGDM, PGDM (HCM) and PGDM (BDA) classes named as Sanquelim Campus.

For admission to PGDM, PGDM (HCM) and PGDM (BDA), the candidates must appear and qualify in XAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT followed by interview round

For part-time PGDM or EMBA, the candidates must qualify Goa State Entrance Test conducted by GIM

Admission to PGDM and PGDM-PT, GIM
The GIM Courses include PGDM, PGDM (Healthcare Management), PGDM (Big Data Analytics) and PGDM-Part time/EMBA programs under various specializations, the admission procedure to each program differs from one another.

For all the courses except PGDM-PT/EMBA, the candidates must hold a valid score of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT examination

The shortlisted candidates are called for interview round after which the final selection is made

For admission to PGDM-PT/EMBA, the institute conducts an examination called GSET and the candidates are shortlisted based on their performances in GSET

Shortlisted candidates are required to go through the interview round conducted by the Institute based on which the final selection is carried out

For PGDM-HCM or PGDM-BDA, the preference is given to the candidates who hold experience in Hospitals, Public Health, and Pharmaceuticals etc. They must be good with their academic performances as well. The final selection is carried out based on their performances in the interview round conducted by the institute. Final selection is based on the following components;

The qualifying cut off marks of XAT/CMAT/GMAT/CAT would be lowered by 15 points for candidates belonging to Goa origin.
The interviews are conducted at different centers including the center of New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Goa.
Application Procedure
The application procedure for PGDM and PGDM part-time courses is different from each other. The candidates applying for the courses must ensure that they fulfill the minimum educational qualification required by the institute.

For admission to PGDM courses, the candidates must visit the official website of the institute and fill the application form online.

They must process the payment of INR 1000 as application fee. The payment can be made through Credit card, Debit card or Net banking.

They are advised to have a copy of the application form and the payment receipt in case of any future admission related requirement.
For admission to PGDM-PT/EMBA courses, the application form is to be downloaded by visiting the official website of the institute or it can also be collected from the PGDM-PT office at the institute Ribandar Campus.
The candidates are advised to fill the form correctly and then submit it to the concerned department of the institute along with the required documents and a demand draft of INR 1000 drawn in favor of ‘Goa Institute of Management' Payable at Panjim.
