IBSAT 2025

IBSAT 2025 is a national-level management aptitude test for admission into the 2-year full-time MBA/PGPM programs offered at 9 IBS campuses across India.

IBSAT 2025 is an online test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (The IFHE), Hyderabad — a Deemed University. With remote proctoring, it can be taken from the comfort of your home. The test assesses a candidate’s skills in Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Data Adequacy, Vocabulary, Analytical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension.

Candidates with valid scores inCAT,NMAT by GMAC™,XAT, orGMAT™(from 2023 onwards) areexempted from takingIBSAT 2025.However taking IBSAT 2025 will make them eligible for the Rs 2 lakh scholarship. In both circumstances the candidates have to fill in the IBSAT 2025 application form to proceed further.

IBSAT 2025scores, as well as valid scores from the above national-level tests, are accepted for admission to the following programs:

MBA/PGPM – 2-Year Management Program

·Graduation (any discipline)with50% and above marks, with English as the medium of instruction.

· Applicants must have completedat least 15 years of education(10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).

· Candidates not meeting the English medium criterion must submitTOEFL/ NELT/ IELTSscores byMay 31, 2026.

·Final-year studentsare eligible to apply, provided they complete all graduation requirements (including practical exams, viva, assignments) beforeMay 31, 2026.

Admission will remainprovisionaluntil they submit required academic proof.

Last date for submissionof graduation documents:November 1, 2026.

Eligibility verification will begin fromAugust 2026. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure they meet all criteria.

New Update: IBS is giving the best platform to MBA aspirants in the form of the National Mock Test (NMT) 2025. This is free and will be given at a time when there are cash prizes as well. The winner will get Rs 1,00,000 and the second and the third one will get prizes worth Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. In addition, 97 participants will be rewarded with Rs 5,000 each.

The mock test is in the same pattern as IBSAT, i.e., 140 questions in 2 hours. Therefore, candidates get ample time to fine-tune their preparation for the test. IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted byThe ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education(a deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA / PhD programs of IBS Bengaluru and IBS Hyderabad.

IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is of 2 hours duration and is aimed at testing the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

CAT/ GMAT/ NMAT are also accepted in place of IBSAT 2023.

Candidates with GMAT, NMAT by GMACTMCAT and XAT scores are exempted from IBSAT 2023.

The ICFAI University, Dehradun, The ICFAI University, Jaipur and The Icfaian Foundationaccept IBSAT 2023 / GMAT/ NMAT by GMACTM/CAT/XAT scores (from 2020 onwards) for admission to the following programs:

Steps to Apply:

• Online Application: Visit the application portal and complete the form.
• Personal and Contact Details: Enter your personal information and contact details.
• Confirmation: Submit your details to proceed to the payment page.
• Payment: Pay the application fee of Rs 1800.
• Receipt: After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email/SMS on your

• Brochure: Within one week of completing the complete application, the applicants will

Selection Process

Candidates shortlisted based on their scores in IBSAT 2025, or through CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™ (from 2023 onwards), will be invited for the selection process starting in the second week of February, 2026.

The process includes two components:Micro PresentationandPersonal Interview.Micro Presentation

This part of the process is designed to assess a candidate’s ability to think on their feet, organize their thoughts, and communicate effectively. Candidates will get 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to speak on a general topic assigned at random.

Personal Interview

The interview lasts about 5 to 7 minutes and is conducted by a panel that evaluates the candidate’s attitude, clarity of thought, communication skills, awareness of current affairs, and overall readiness for a career in management.

Admission decision

Final selection is based on past academic performance, along with performance in the Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
