JEE Main 2020 – One of the biggest concerns nowadays is if JEE Main 2020 and NEET Exam should be conducted or not. There have been various arguments currently prevailing on various social media platforms pleading cancelation of JEE Main and NEET Exam due to the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic. The case was later taken to the Supreme Court where the declaration was due until Monday.

The Supreme Court finally made a decision and rejected the plea seeking the cancelation of JEE Main 2020 and NEET Exams. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted in the month of September 2020. A team of three judges led by Justice Arun Mishra clarified that the exams could not be postponed as this would jeopardize the career of lakhs of students seeking admission.

The court not only dismissed the plea but also administered the National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting authority of JEE Main and NEET Exam, to conduct the examination with all the safeguards and precautionary measures. Justice Arun Mishra also added:

''Show must go on, a whole year of students cannot be wasted."

There were 11 petitioners who were heard by the team of three judges. The petition stated that the examination must only be conducted when the situation return to normalcy and the effect of Coronavirus is reduced to some extent.

Judges Arun Mishra, BR Gavai and Krishna Murari said that the team doesn't discover any legitimacy in the petition. The cancelation or postponement of the entrance exams will only waste one entire year from students’ academic calendar. The Supreme Court said that it is not possible to pause our lives and requested NTA to direct the tests with all protections, safety, and precautionary measures. Judges additionally inquired as to whether they are prepared to squander the entire year.

Supporter Alakh Alok Srivastava who has been showed up for the candidates said that the solicitors don't request the uncertain postponement of the tests. He took the court through the different choices over the CBSE and other public tests that has been canceled because of the pandemic.

Be that as it may, the court didn't discover any legitimacy in the appeal and wouldn't delay the assessment. A different request looking for planning of tests on a similar date has likewise been dismissed by the Supreme court. Specialist General Tushar Mehta, who have been showed up for NTA has presented the subtleties over the shield taken while directing the tests.
