JEE Main 2019: Cutoff list for JEE Advanced Released @jeemain.nic.in, More Than 2.5 Lakh Qualified for Examination

The most awaited JEE Main 2019 Result is now available on the official website jeemain.nic.in. The result was declared late in the evening yesterday. Candidates who have appeared for the examination conducted in April can visit the official website to check their respective result.

JEE Main 2019 Result is out now on the official website. Along with the result NTA has also released the list of JEE Main Cutoff 2019 for JEE Advanced Application Procedure and more than 2.5 lakh candidates are expected to take the exam this year.

Candidates who wish to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 needs to have qualify JEE Main 2019 with a high score to make it to the list of eligible candidates. Apart from releasing the April session’sJEE Main Result, National Testing Agency (NTA) has also released the cut off list for eligible candidates.

This year a total of 24 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile and top the JEE Main 2019 Examination. The number is combined number of candidates scoring 100 percentile in both January and April sessions as for the first time the exam was conducted twice in one academic year.

It is important to note that unlike every other year, this time the cutoff would be based on the candidates NTA score which evaluate and score students in percentile on basis of performance in the examination.

Candidate needs to check their respective results for status of whether they have qualified for the next level under various category as the same will be available on the result window of the official website. Candidates can check the cutoff list of total NTA score based on Paper I for JEE Advanced here:

As estimated earlier, it was expected that approximately 2.45 lakh candidates will appear for the examination but the exact number of students qualifying for JEE Advanced is not yet disclosed by the authority. However, as per the result observed, the number might go higher and more than 2.5 lakhs candidates may have their chances to sit for the IIT entrance examination.

Candidates who have already qualified for JEE Advanced now needs to wait for the registration process to open so that they can apply for the examination. Candidates should note that JEE Advanced Application procedure will start online @jeeadv.ac.in from May 3, 2019 and the window will close on May 8, 2019.
