BA [ Bachelor of Arts ]

The Bachelor of Economics is a three-year academic degree in the social sciences encompassing both literal and quantitative courses. Typical mandatory courses for the degree include, but are not limited to: microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, economic statistics, history of economic thought and political economy.

Some universities offer undergraduate degree students the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of economics, such as: applied economics, financial economics, mathematical economics and political economy.
