The knowledge of XAT Syllabus is one of the most important and crucial aspects that must be known to all the students willing to take and qualify the examination. XLRI Jamshedpur which is the examination conducting body does not define or release a particular set of topics or syllabus that students must study before appearing for the exam and hence, an estimated XAT Syllabus 2020 has been designed and provided here for aspirants of XAT Exam. Since there is not much time left for the exam, students are advised to make the most of this time.
XAT 2020 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 5th January 2020
After a brief consideration of XAT Exam Pattern, we can say that the syllabus of XAT Exam is divided in four sections namely Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, and General Knowledge.

As we are aware of the fact that XLRI Jamshedpur conducts XAT Exam every year and there is no such syllabus released by the conducting authority of XAT Exam. The syllabus given below has been derived from the pattern of and questions asked in the previous years’ question papers. Based on the pattern of previous question papers of XAT Exam, we have defined the questions that generally are expected to come from specific topics.
Students can also visit XAT Syllabus to get a detailed description of what they should prepare for.
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation are two different segments that combine to make a whole one section. Candidates can score good in this section since the questions are direct and formula based. Following are the topics to cover under this section:

Algebra/Pure Mathematics
Data Interpretation
This section has been designed to test students’ analytical skills and knowledge of English language. Out of total 99 questions, the section can be expected to be comprised of 25-26 questions and as per the previous years’ trend, the difficulty level of this section varies from moderate to difficult.

This one is the key section in XAT Exam Pattern as no other MBA entrance examination consists of Decision Making section. The questions of this section are generally asked in the form of caselets where in the candidates are provided with a problem and based on the information given in the question, they have to pick the most accurate solution to the question.
