Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur will soon release the XAT 2024 cutoff for its PGDM-BM and PGDM-HRM programmes online. Meanwhile, candidates who took the XAT 2024 on January 7 can check the previous year's XAT cutoff on the official website, xlri.ac.in. The XAT cut-off is usually between 95 and 97 percentile. Female candidates have a 1-2 percentile lower cut-off for the XAT exam.
The XAT cutoff for XLRI admission is determined by several factors. The three main determining factors are the number of candidates taking the XAT that year, the difficulty level of the XAT question paper, and the number of available seats. The XAT is one of the nation's oldest competitive exams, but it has always used state-of-the-art testing techniques. The XAT offers a multi-pronged examination structure with built-in fairness to assess applicants who want to work as business leaders in the future.

XAT does not require score normalization because it is administered in a single session. Thus, the percentile is used in XAT and can be calculated using the following formula:
Your XAT Rank/Total candidates x 100
The XAT Cut Off varies across different colleges due to several factors, including the number of available vacancies, the preferred field of study, and the difficulty level of the XAT 2023 exam. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to meet both the sectional and overall cutoff scores.

XLRI Jamshedpur will make public the list of individuals who have been shortlisted for in-person interviews and group discussions following the announcement of the cutoff. Candidates can check if they have been selected for further rounds and admission by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit XLRI's official website.
Step 2: Select the desired program from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Enter your XAT ID and password.
Step 4: The computer screen will then display the names of the shortlisted candidates.
The XLRI Jamshedpur admission committee selects candidates for admission to its PGDM programs based on their XAT scores, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). For this reason, the institute establishes category-specific minimum cut offs for HRM and BM programmes. Candidates who meet the XAT cutoff for XLRI must submit an online application form through the institute's website. The institute then shortlists the applicants for GD/PI round.
This GD/PI round is held in February in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Jamshedpur. The GD/PI round has been conducted online since 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following this rigorous personality assessment round, candidates are shortlisted for admission offers. Selected candidates receive admission offers via email in May.
XLRI Jamshedpur is expected to release the XAT 2024 cutoff for its PGDM-BM and PGDM-HRM programs soon after the examination.
Candidates who took the XAT 2024 on January 7 can check the official website, xlri.ac.in, for the XAT 2024 cutoff. The previous year’s XAT cutoff information is also available on the website.
The XAT cutoff for XLRI is determined by factors such as the number of XAT takers, the difficulty level of the question paper, and the available seats.
Yes, there is a 1-2 percentile lower cutoff for female candidates in the XAT exam, and XLRI has different cutoffs for candidates from engineering and non-engineering backgrounds.
The expected XAT cutoffs for 2024 for different categories are provided in the tables, considering factors such as verbal ability, decision making, and quantitative ability.
The level of difficulty of the XAT 2024 exam plays a crucial role in determining the cutoff. Higher difficulty may result in a lower cutoff, while lower difficulty may lead to a higher cutoff.
The reservation policy significantly influences the XAT cutoff by dictating the number of seats reserved for various categories. Higher reservation implies a lower cutoff, while lower reservation leads to a higher cutoff.
XLRI announces the XAT 2024 cutoff after analyzing various factors, and the cutoffs are finalized after the XAT results are declared. Factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level, and seat availability contribute to the finalization of cutoffs.
