IIT JAM 2019: Application Procedure started for PG Admissions to IITs and others @jam.iitkgp.ac.in

It’s almost a month since the release of IIT JAM 2019 results and the authorities have started the online application procedure for admission in various Post Bachelor's (PG) Degree Programmes at some of the premier institutes of the country from Friday, April 12, 2019.
The admission process for the courses offered at IITs and IISER through JAM 2019 will end on July 4, 2019 and candidates are advised to visit the official website and complete the application procedure before April 25, 2019.
Candidates who already qualified the examination and are eligible to apply for the IIT JAM Counselling can visit the official website jam.iitkgp.ac.in and fill the application form to apply for the desired college and courses.
This year the exam was conducted by IIT Kharagpur and the last date to fill the online application form is April 25 and candidates will be able to make a request for changes in the category till April 29, 2019. Candidates should produce proper valid documents in order to request for a change in the category.
Candidates qualifying IIT JAM will be eligible to apply for various PG programmes, including M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree the scores are also accepted for admission in Integrated Ph.D. Programme offered at the IITs, IISc, NITs, and IISER. A total of 2152 seats are available across in the various courses and participating institutes.
The exam was conducted on February 10, 2019, on the examination centers located in some of the major cities of the country. The computer-based examination was completed in two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the evening.
Candidates will be able to make payment of online application process for first, second and third admission list till June 4, June 24, and July 2, 2019, respectively.

Process to fill the admission form of IIT JAM:
Admission form can be filled by visiting the official website and completing the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Filling the application form with personal details like name, date of birth, mobile number and other personal details.
Step 2: Uploading the required documents in the requisite format and size.
Step 3: Selecting the programme and preferred institute
Step 4: Candidate needs to make the declaration in this step and take the responsibility that the documents uploaded and details filled are authentic.
Step 5: In the final step, the candidate needs to make the online payment for admission form fee.
