The most popular examination for admission in Master’s degree courses in IITs and IISc is Indian Institute of Technology's Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM), which is conducted every year across the country. This year the examination was conducted by IIT Kharagpur on February 10, 2019 in two sessions.
Scorecard of IIT JAM 2019 is available online on official website and counselling process will start from next week.
IIT JAM which opens doors of opportunities for the students who wish to complete M.Sc. programme, Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and others from IITs and IISc is one of the popular exams of the country. Thousands of students apply for the same.
As per earlier available notification from the authorities, IIT JAM 2019 Counselling process will start in the second week of April 2019 after the release of merit list on basis of all India ranks of the candidates in the examination.

Candidates qualifying the examination and making it to the merit list will be eligible to apply for the courses in participating institutes. Candidates can visit the official website and fill the application form for admission procedure further.
As the number of applicants is high and so is the probability of two and more students getting the same score, which impact the allotment of rank to the candidate. To deal with such scenarios authority follow tie-breaking procedure as mentioned below:
