Check out some steps to prepare for JAM 2023:
1.Check IIT JAM Syllabus & Exam pattern: The first step is to check the syllabus of the exam in detail, students should have a clear understanding about the exam pattern and the syllabus of IIT JAM.IIT JAM syllabus
2.Go through marking scheme and negative marking.: After going through the syllabus and exam pattern of the exam, candidates should see the marking scheme of the exam. There is a provision of using virtual calculator hence students should not carry a calculator with themselves.
3.Diligent study: Studying carefully is one of the important tasks for preparing for the exam. Prepare small notes of each topic.
4.Prioritise syllabus and study accordingly: The syllabus should be prioritised accordingly, make a time table of your studies and follow that time table regularly in order to excel in the exam.
5.Solve mock test paper & previous papers. Solving previous year papers and mock test allows the students to have a clear understanding of the exam paper they should expect in near future.
6. Check reference books carefully: There are numerous books available in the market for studying, students can check the reference books for each section.
7.Sleep for atleast 6-7hrs-7hrs: Sleeping properly for about 6hs-7hrs is necessary for a student to prepare well for the exam.
