The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has opened the correction window for exam city change request. The correction facility is available till November 16, 2018. The candidates who applied for GATE 2019 can now make changes in the examination city by logging into the student portal of the GATE.
Apart from the correction facility, the PwD candidates with benchmark disabilities can also opt for scribe by writing a mail to gate2019@iitm.ac.in. The candidates who have already opted for scribe during GATE registration must not send any mail to the authority. Only the candidates, who have not opted for the facility during registration and willing to opt for it must write to the board.
GATE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 by IIT Madras. The candidates who have applied for the examination can download their GATE Admit Card from January 4, 2019. GATE examination will be conducted for 24 subjects and the online mock test for all the subjects expect statistics have been released on the official website. As statistics is the newly added examination, the candidates can refer to mathematics paper to get an idea about the actual examination.

GATE 2019 will be conducted in online mode and time duration will be 3 hours. GATE question paper will carry multiple-choice and numerical answer type questions and each correct answer will fetch 2 or 1 mark, depending on the question and 2/3 or 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
