Mylswamy Annadurai (born 2 July 1958, in Kodhawady near Pollachi in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu, India) is a scientist with the Indian Space Research Organization and currently serves as Programme Director for IRS&SSS (Indian Remote Sensing & Small, Science and Student Satellites) that include Chandrayaan-1, Chandrayaan-2, ASTROSAT, Aditya-1 , Mars Orbiter Mission and many Indian Remote Sensing missions.
Thamarai is a Tamil poet, lyricist, writer and former journalist. She is best known for writing lyrics for Tamil films only in Tamil language, often even in chaste Tamil. Thamarai graduated in Production Engineering From Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and worked for six years in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, where she hails from, before she, due to her passion for poetry, decided to move to Chennai, where she worked as a freelance journalist and wrote essays, stories and poems.
