Earlier this year National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting authority of the exam has released an official notification regarding the commencement of application procedure from March 1, 2019, followed by the last date to apply for the examination, which is March 29, 2019, until 11:50 PM. The candidates who want to pursue a career as Assistant Professor or take Junior Research Fellowships needs to qualify UGC NET and filling the application form is the first step of the same.

Despite the fact that the window to apply for the examination is closing today, candidates will still be able to pay the online as well as offline application fee till April 1, 2019.

Candidates opting for offline payment mode should be able to pay the application fee in the working hours of the bank. However, for the candidates using online banking facilities like a debit/credit card or net banking the window to pay the application fee is available till 11:50 of April 1.

Here are a few key notes candidates should take care while filling the application form.

  • Candidates should read all the details and conditions available in the information bulletin of the official website before filling the application form. There is UGC NET Eligibility which a candidate needs to satisfy in order to apply and age limit to apply for JRF is one of them.
