UGC NET 2020 Admit Card

UGC NET Admit card for the examination scheduled to be conducted on December 2018 will be released from November 19 by NTA (National Testing Agencies). Aspirants who have already registered for the said examination can visit the official website ntanet.nic.in to get their admit card downloaded. Admit card is one of the most important documents for any examination and in absence of the same candidate will not be entertained in the examination hall. Admit card carry details of the examination center, the timing of the examination and all other relevant details.

As per the changes made in the conducting body of the examination from the year 2018 onwards, NTA will be conducting UGC NET and other exams like JEE MAIN and CBSE will not be associated with these exams anymore. The exams will be conducted on the computer-based online pattern and it is mandatory to bring admit card along.

How to download UGC NET Admit Card?

  • The hall ticket for UGC NET will be released before the examination on the official website and the same can only be obtained from the website. Candidate should note that the admit card will not be sent through the post and they need to download it by using the below mentioned steps.
  • After successful registration, the candidate on the scheduled date of Admit Card released needs to visit the official website ntanet.nic.in.
  • Click on the snippet of “Download UGC-NET Admit Card” available on the left-hand side of the homepage.
  •  Candidate will be redirected to a page asking Application number and preset password, fill the required details.
  • Once log in candidate will be able to see the admit card along with the option to download it.
  • Download the admit card, save it and take a print out.
  • The downloaded admit card will be the gateway of the student to appear for the exam and the same should not be torn or mutilated in any condition as no duplicate hall ticket will be issued during the examination. Admit card which had any changes made manually after downloaded will also not be entertained. Try to download a clear and high-resolution copy of the admit card to avoid any trouble just before the examination. Do check all the required details on the admit card to be assured of all the information present on the admit card being correct.

Details available on UGC NET Admit Card:

  • Candidate's Personal Information: Admit card of UGC NET will show the name of the admit card as filled during the application procedure. Along with candidate name candidate's father's name will also be available on the admit card.
  • Venue of the Examination: Admit card carry the information on center number along with the complete address of the exam center.
  • Subject code and subject: The subject selected by the candidate during the registration will be indicated on the admit card with the respective subject code.
  • Category: If a candidate had applied through the reserved category like PwD, then the admit card will also mention the category.
  • Date and time of the examination: The admit card will indicate the date and time slot when candidate can appear for the examination and candidate should note that the candidate will not be able to change the same and failing to appear on the mentioned time of admit card, candidate will not be able to sit for the examination.
  • Application Number: The application number which is the login id for the website is also available on the admit card.
