IIT JAM 2019 has been scheduled recently and dates are released by IIT Kharagpur on the official website www.jam.iitkgp.ac.in. The registration process for the same will start from September 1, 2018, through online mode and the entrance exam will be conducted on February 10 of next year.
Joint Admission Test for MSc (IIT-JAM) is an all India entrance test for candidates aspiring to peruse M.Sc. degree and other post-graduate courses offered at IITs across the nation like joint M.Sc-Ph.D and M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree. Also for the candidates seeking to do research and wants to take admission in an integrated Ph.D. course offered at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) scores is also accepted by many other institutes of national importance like Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for admission in MSc courses.
The entrance exam is conducted once in every year since 2004 and is conducted by each IIT on a rotational basis. This year IIT-JAM will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur and is scheduled for February 10th, 2019, and it will be conducted in 2 sessions computer-based examination pattern. Registration for the same will start from September 1 and the registration window is open till October 10th, 2018. Scores obtained by the candidate will be announced on March 20, 2019.
