The Comprehensice Ranking System (CRS) is a point-based system which is used by the Govenment of Canada to asses the profiles of immigrants in the Express Entry Pool. CRS Score is based on human capital characterstics like education, language ability, skills, work experience and other factors. The CRS score is of 1,200 points and includes core set of points up to 600 and set of additional points of upto 600.
Skills, experience factors, spouse, or common-partner factors, like education, work experience, language skills are the basis of core point for being rewarded. The basis for additional points to be rewarded are Canadian degrees, diplomas, or certificates, a nomination from a province or territory.

CRS Score is an factor which is very essential for the immigration process of Canada. It determines eligibility of the candidate for immigrants for immigrants, seeking permanent residence in Canada. CRS Score improves chances of recieving an invitation for permanent residence in Canada.
Core Capital Points - This includes age, level of education, language proficiency, and work experience of Canada.

Other Factors - These include having a sibling or sister who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, having Canadian degrees, diplomas, or certifications, having a legitimate work offer, having a nomination from a province or territory, and having good French language proficiency. The candidate's proficiency in these categories determines how many points they can get, with a maximum of 600.

Depending on the quantity of candidates in the pool and invitations sent out, the minimum CRS score for the Express Entry program changes with each round of invites. Candidates are ranked in the pool using a points-based method called the CRS score, which is determined by a number of variables including age, adaptability, education, work experience, and language proficiency.
