Canada CRS Score Calculator

The Comprehensice Ranking System (CRS) is a point-based system which is used by the Govenment of Canada to asses the profiles of immigrants in the Express Entry Pool. CRS Score is based on human capital characterstics like education, language ability, skills, work experience and other factors. The CRS score is of 1,200 points and includes core set of points up to 600 and set of additional points of upto 600. 

Skills, experience factors, spouse, or common-partner factors, like education, work experience, language skills are the basis of core point for being rewarded. The basis for additional points to be rewarded are Canadian degrees, diplomas, or certificates, a nomination from a province or territory.

Why is CRS Score Important?

CRS Score is an factor which is very essential for the immigration process of Canada. It determines eligibility of the candidate for immigrants for immigrants, seeking permanent residence in Canada. CRS Score improves chances of recieving an invitation for permanent residence in Canada.

Formula for calculating CRS Score 

Overall/Total CRS Score = Maximum CRS Points (Skill Transferability + Factor Core/Human Capital + Additional Factors) = (100 + 500 + 600) = 1.200 points

Minimum CRS Score for Express Entry Program

Depending on the quantity of candidates in the pool and invitations sent out, the minimum CRS score for the Express Entry program changes with each round of invites.
