UGC NET 2018: Admit card released on ntanet.nic.in

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has released the admit card of UGC NET 2018 on its official website ntanet.nic.in and nta.nic.in. Candidate who had successfully registered for the examination can visit the official website and download the UGC NET Admit Card 2018. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 18 to December 22 and admit card is a mandatory document and in absence of the same candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. The UGC NET hall ticket will also contain details of Examination Centre and Timing of the examination.UGC NET Admit Card

This year National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 will be conducted by the newly formed National Testing Agency (NTA), earlier the exam was being conducted by CBSE. The candidates qualifying the examination are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor and will grant Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) also.

Admit card will only be allotted to the candidates who completed the UGC NET Application procedure and there is no mistake in the application form or submitted documents.

Follow the below mentioned steps to download the UGC-NET Admit card:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website ntanet.nic.in or nta.nic.in and click on the link of “Download Admit Card”
  • Step 2: Candidates in the next step will be given option to “download admit card by using registration number and password” or “download admit card using registration number and date of birth” whichever being preferred.
  • Step 3: Fill the required details and submit.
  • Step 4: Admit card will appear on the screen after submitting the details with a link to download the same. Candidate can save the pdf and take a print out of it.

Before taking the print out of the admit card candidates are suggested to check the details and photograph available on it, as there can be chances that the admit card may contain a wrong information and the same need to be corrected at earliest. Admit card should mention details like Name of the candidate spelled correctly, Registration Number, Address of the examination centre, Date of the exam and Time slot of the examination.

In case a candidate finds the needs of correction in the admit card or having trouble in downloading the same he or she can contact on the official helpline numbers before November 25th between 10:00 am to 05:00 pm to get it corrected.
