The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced examination schedule for various competitive exams namely NEET, UGC-NET, JEE Main, GPAT and CMAT. The NTA is an autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization, established by the central government for conducting examinations which are currently held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
According to the reports, NEET exam will be the only examination to be conducted in paper pen mode and in the same number of languages as in previous years. The remaining other examinations will be conducted only in online mode.
Earlier in the month of July, the HRD Ministry released a tentative schedule of the examinations which also notified that NEET and JEE Main examinations will be conducted twice a year and the exams will be conducted only in online mode. However, due to requests from the Health and Family Welfare Ministry, NEET examination will be conducted annually and in paper-pen mode.
