The official website of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2020 is live now. It came in news that GATE 2020 will be conducted by the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Delhi. Gate was conducted by Indian Institute of Technology of Delhi in the year 1992, 1998, 2004 and in 2012 as well.
GATE 2020 is using the same website as previous years gate.iitd.ac.in. GATE 2020 website has been activated and it will start accepting the application forms for the GATE from September itself.
Like every year the exam is predicted to be conducted in the first two weekends of February as per the schedule decided. The exam will be conducted in computer based format. In this exam there will be near about 24 subjects. The score attained by the students in their GATE exam can apply to take admission in the master level programmes offered by the different Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
This exam is not only important for students dreaming for Master’s programme but is even important for students who want to be in government runned companies or in public sector undertakings(PSUs). This exam is accepted by several Public sector undertakings and by several government based companies.There are various foreign institutes which are accepting the GATE score 2020.
The GATE score obtained by the students is valid for consecutive three years, which means student can find admission or job for those three years of declaring the result.
