The admission criteria of IIM Shillong for 2018-20 has been released for the Post Graduate Programme in Management offered by the institute. Indian Institute of Management, Shillong follows the Selection procedure which would be held in 2 phases.
Phase 1 - Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Phase 2 - Preparing Merit List for Admission Offer
The weights assigned to each step of IIM Shillong Selection Procedure is different from other IIMs. Candidates who have appeared for CAT and applied for IIM Shillong should check all the stages of the CAT Selection Procedure.
Phase 1
The candidates who applied for IIM Shillong for admission would be eligible for this phase of the selection procedure. The minimum marks in terms of the requirement have been detailed as below:

Based on the above cutoff scores mentioned, the candidates would be selected for further stages of CAT Selection Procedure. From every academic category, a certain percentage of candidates would be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The final shortlisted candidates would be based on the academic record of the candidates, on the basis of their Bachelor Degree and Category. From every academic category, a percentage of candidates would be shortlisted for WSAT and PI.
The total number of shortlisted candidates would be based on their overall performance in the CAT Examination, the number of seats that are available, buffer for a possible overlap and based on the attendance trends in the past years.
