The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow commenced CAT 2023 Registration on 2nd August 2023 on the official website of CAT – iimcat.ac.in 2023. The registration process of CAT Exam will be conducted in online mode only. Interested candidates can fill CAT Application Form 2023 by visiting the website. The last date to apply for CAT 2023 is 13th September 2023 before 5 PM. To completely fill CAT form 2023, candidates will have to make the payment of cat application fees. The CAT Exam 2023 Registration fees for general category candidates is INR 2400 and for reserved category candidates, it is INR 1200. CAT 2023 Registration
CAT 2023 will be conducted on November 26, 2023. The exam is scheduled to be held in three sessions. Its will be a Computer Bases Test (CBT) and the duration of CAT Exam will be 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes. CAT 2023 Exam will consist of sections namely VARC, QA and DILR.

Step 1 – Registration for User ID and Password
On the CAT 2023 Official Website – iimcat.ac.in 2023, navigate to and click on the ‘Register' button under New Candidate Registration and create your profile. The registration window will open in your browser. Below mentioned are the recommended browsers to fill the CAT Registration Form:

New Candidate Registration for CAT 2023:
Click on New Candidates Registration for CAT 2023 to generate CAT Application Number and Password. CAT Login Credentials – CAT Application Number and Password will be used to fill CAT Application Form.
The Registration form to create your user profile will appear as given below:
In order to complete the CAT Registration Process, generate the OTP by clicking on ‘Generate OTP'. Candidates will be redirected to CAPTCHA to fill and submit the OTP received on your mobile number for verification.
Note* The details filled in this form can not be changed once they are submitted. Candidates are advised to enter the required information with care. They must also reverified before the submission.
Name of Candidate – This should be the same as it is in 10th class certificate.
Date of Birth – Candidates must use the calendar icon to select their date of birth.
Email Address – Enter the correct email address which is valid and unique as the OTP and any related information will be sent to the registered email id.
Mobile Number – The number entered should be valid and unique. Candidates will receive an OTP for verification on their registered mobile number.
OTP – Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number or email address to proceed for filling CAT Application Form.
I Agree – Click on ‘I Agree' Checkbox in the declaration section.
Confirmation of CAT 2023 Registration
Right after the submission of CAT Registration form, candidates will receive their login details through an email on their registered email address with the subject line “CAT 2023 Successful Registration”.
This marks the successful completion of Step 1 of the CAT Registration Process.
Step 2 – Login to CAT Website
Once the CAT login credentials i.e. CAT Application Number and Password have been sent on your email id, proceed to login to CAT website and fill the application form of CAT 2023. Here you can now login as a “Registered Candidate” on the website and fill CAT 2023 Application Form.
Enter your user id and password and proceed to fill the application form of CAT 2023.
It will then show the basic details entered by you. Below mentioned is the specimen for the same:
Note* In case you forget your user id and password, click on the “Forgot User Id and Password” button to recover the same. The user id and password will again be sent to your registered email id. It will not be sent to your registered mobile number.
After you have logged in to the website, you will be redirected to the application details page.

Step 3 – Fill CAT 2023 Application Form
After entering the CAT User id and password, candidates will be redirected to Online CAT Application Form. Candidates can fill their application form by entering the details required.
The CAT Registration Form has 6 sections which need to be filled correctly by the candidates. All these 6 pages must be filled correctly for the successful submission of CAT 2023 Application Form. Below mentioned are the six sections of CAT Exam Registration Form 2023:
In personal details of CAT Application form, candidates are required to enter their personal details such as Name, Date of Birt, Father's Name, Category, Gender, Nationality, Communication Address, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.

In this segment, the candidates must enter their work experience. Following are the instructions one must know or follow:
Only full-time experience after graduation must be entered.
- Any Part Time/Project/Internship/Article ship/Pre graduation work experience will not be considered and hence, must not be entered.
- Date when you started working in the industry and the date you left that particular industry must be entered correctly.
- Save and Continue.
- It is NOT MANDATORY.
Selection of Programmes in CAT Online Form
In this section, candidates are required to select the Indian Institute of Management of their preference and the MBA program they wish to pursue their career in.
- Select the preferred IIM Programs.
- Select the city for IIM Interview Process.
Select the test city preference as per your convenience.
- Candidates are allowed to select up to 6 cities in preference order from first to last in CAT Application form.
- The final allotment of CAT Exam Centre will be made based on the availability of seats in that particular centre.
- Once allotted, CAT 2023 Exam Centre will not be changed under any circumstances.
Payment of CAT Application Fee
Candidates can use their debit/credit card to make the payment of CAT Registration Fee. They can also make the payment through NET Banking or Paytm/PayU mobile wallets.
How to Pay CAT Exam Fees?

- Check the declaration box and select ‘I Agree'.

Forgot CAT 2023 User ID and Password?
In case any candidate has forgotten CAT Registration / User ID and password then they must follow the below mentioned steps in order to recover the same:
- Visit the CAT 2023 Official Website and click on the Candidate Login Tab.
- Navigate to and click on ‘Forgot Password or Forgot Registration ID'.
- Candidates will be redirected to the password or registration ID generation page.
- Reset your password by generating and OTP. This can also be done by answering the security question.

At the time of admission, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD) must secure at least 45% marks in their graduation.
Can I fill CAT 2023 Application Form offline?
