IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.
The registration for CAT will start in August, possibly in the first week of August, The schedule for CAT registration will be declared on 30th August. The process of application will be online. Interested applicants can apply at iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT registration cum application process 2024 will continue until the third week of September 2024.
IIM Lucknow received 3.30 lakh applications in 2023. Comparatively, it is higher than applications received in 2022 by 30%. Also, it is the highest number since the beginning of the CAT exam. 2.88 lakh applicants took the test out of 3.30 lakh, of which 3.28 lakh applications were considered valid.

Candidates must note that CAT registration and application process is only done one-time. This process is mandatory and there is no scope of submitting a form in offline mode. FIRST STEP: Registration
In the first Step, candidates need to follow the procedure given below for online registration for CAT exam:
SECOND STEP: Filling up CAT Application Form
The candidate will receive a user ID and password on their registered email address and mobile number following verification. Re-log in with your CAT 2024 user ID and password to complete the form.
THIRD STEP:Payment of CAT Registration cum Application Fee
The payment of the application fee is the third and last step in registering for the 2024 CAT exam. Once you have completed the form's first five parts with your information, click "save and continue" to move on to the fee payment window.
Payment for the CAT exam must be made at the time the form is submitted. The CAT application form will not be submitted until the cost is paid. Before the deadline, candidates must pay the application cost and submit the form. The most recent CAT registration cost is shown below.
For General, EWS and NC-OBC
Category, INR 2,400 is the fee.
For SC, ST and PwD, INR 1,200 is the fee.
In the CAT application form 2024, candidates are required to include both personal and academic information. Therefore, in order to provide accurate personal and academic information on the CAT form, candidates must have the following documents available before beginning to fill it out:

Final Year Certificate |
On the letterhead of the college or institution, candidates who are in their final year of a bachelor's degree program must upload their final year certificate from the principal, head of department, registrar, or director attesting to their achievement of at least 50% (45% for SC, ST, or PWD candidates) or an equivalent based on the most recent grades or marks available. The IIMCAT website offers a download for the certificate format. |
There are 155 cities listed. Candidates must enter the test location of their preference by selecting up to six options from the list. The CAT test city will be assigned based on the availability of seats at the testing center. The candidate's CAT admission card 2024 will provide information about the exam city and center. Only once after the form is submitted, during the CAT form correction process, is there an opportunity to modify the test city. Candidates should choose their CAT test cities carefully.

CAT is the most popular MBA entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) along with various other top management colleges. The eligibility criteria for CAT Exam are 1) Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university securing at least 50% marks in aggregate 2) There is no age limit for appearing in the CAT Exam, 3) Candidates must be of Indian citizenship.
The CAT Application Fee is INR 2400 for General, EWS, and NC OBC category candidates and for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, the CAT registration fees is INR 1200. At the time of admission, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD) must secure at least 45% marks in their graduation.
No. Candidates can not fill CAT Application Form offline. CAT 2024 Application Form can only be filled online through CAT official website - iimcat.ac.in. There is no option to fill the CAT Form offline. While filling the application form of CAT, candidates will be required to create an account on CAT Website once the registration begins. Candidates must also note that there is no other website to host the CAT Form, candidates can register themselves only by visiting the official websites. Besides, CAT Exam Fee must be submitted only only and there will be no cash accepted.
