CAT 2019 Cutoff

The CAT cutoff is the score on the basis of which the candidates get selected for the admission rounds in the IIMs. The CAT is accepted by over 20 IIMs and about 100+ B schools. The expected cutoffs based on the indications of previous years is as listed below. Apart from this, the cutoff scores of private B schools which are not IIMs are also mentioned below. The cutoffs of the respective institutes would be announced as soon as the result is announced by the respective B schools.

IIM-Ahmedabad

The B-school gives 70 percent weight to CAT scores and 30 percent to application rating which includes academics, co-curricular, extracurricular and work experience. IIM Ahmedabad also majorly focuses on getting students from varied academic backgrounds; Arts, Commerce and Humanities.

IIM- Bangalore

IIM Bangalore does not have the strict percentile criteria for the second round of short-listing. However, it gives major emphasis on candidates' academic records (Class 10, 12 and Bachelors). The B-school is known for having quite a different set of admission criteria.
