CTET 2020 Application Procedure

CTET Application Procedure with all the requisite details-

After the CTET Registration window opens on February 2019 and July 2019, the CTET application can be filled by following the process below

  • Visit the Official Website of CTET.
  • On the official website, the link "Application of CTET" will be given. Click on the link.
  • The candidate has to click the "Apply Online" link after which the application form will open up.
  • Enter the details carefully, and check whether you have filled the mandatory fields. 
  • Upload the digital signature and photograph of the required size. Keep the digital photo and signature ready in advance with the required size.
  • Submit the application fee by e-challan or debit/credit card.
  • After submitting the CTET Application fee, submit the application form.
  • Download the fee slip and application form for future reference.

Exam fee for general category: INR600 for one paper and INR 100 for both the papers.

Exam fee for SC/ST/DIFF abled: INR 300 for one paper and INR 600 for two papers.

CTET 2020 Eligibility

It is mandatory for a candidate to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for the CTET exam. Find the CTET eligibility criteria to ensure the candidature- 

Minimum qualification for becoming a teacher for Grades 1-5:

The candidate must fulfill any one of these below-mentioned requirements-

  • Senior secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50%, passed or appearing in the final stage of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Senior secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 45%, passed or appearing in the final stage of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002.
  • Senior secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50%, passed or appearing in the final stage of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year diploma in elementary education.

CTET 2020 Admit Card

Admit card of CTET is released well in advance by the CBSE. Any problem in the CTET Admit Card can be addressed to the CBSE for correction.

Find important details related to Admit Card here-

  • The CTET Admit card will be available for download at least 3 weeks before the date of the exam.
  • To download the admit card, the candidates have to enter their exam registration number and password.
  • The admit card will mention all the details of the candidate like the name, address etc along with the test center venue and the time of reporting.
  • Candidates must carefully check all the details mentioned on the admit card. In the case of any discrepancy, the CTET officials should be notified at the earliest.
  • Candidates with incorrect details on the admit card will not be allowed to attempt the exam. 
  • A hard copy of the admit card must be presented at the test center.
