The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 Admit Card online on June 22, 2019. All the applicants who have applied for CTET 2019 can now visit the official website to download their admit card.

CTET 2019 Admit Card

The CTET exam will be conducted by CBSE on July 7, 2019, across 2942 centers in 104 cities.

The CTET 2019 exam will be conducted in two shifts.

  • Paper 1- 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Paper 2 -2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

Candidates can download the admit card by login in the official website using application number and date of birth.

Steps to Download CTET 2019 Admit Card

Step 1: Visit the official website- ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Download Admit Card' on the website.

Step 3: Click on the link 'Download Admit Card through Application Number and Date of Birth'.

Step 4: Login on the page using your Application number and date of birth.

Step 5: Your CTET 2019 Admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of your CTET 2019 Admit card.

Qualifying criteria in CTET

Applicants are needed to score a minimum of 60% to get qualified in the exam.

Validity period of CTET Certificate

The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate is seven years from the date of declaration of the examination.

Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the exam. Qualified students can again appear for CTET exam in the future to improve their score.

This year, 8,17,892 candidates have registered for CTET examination. CTET Paper 1 is for primary teachers whereas paper 2 is for secondary teachers.

CTET is a national level entrance examination conducted by the CBSE to appoint skilled for the Primary and Secondary level. The CBSE conducts the CTET examination twice in a year in July and December. The CTET Qualifying certificate is the minimum eligibility to get the teaching job.
