WBJEE Registration commenced on December 19, 2017, at the WBJEE Official website. All those who are interested in the examination would be required to apply on the WBJEE Official Website. The exam is conducted for determining admissions to undergraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture.
The WBJEE Examination would be conducted on April 22, 2018.
The WBJEE Eligibility Criteria for the candidates are as detailed below:
Candidates must have passed Grade 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. They should have Biotechnology/Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks in all the three subjects. The candidates would have to score at least 45% of marks in the above-mentioned subjects.
About 5% relaxation for reserved category students was provided.
The Subjects of WBJEE Examination are as follows:
Paper 1- Mathematics
Paper 2- Physics and Chemistry (Combined)
The candidates appearing in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 who are awarded ranks would b eligible for admission in engineering/technology/architecture/pharmacy courses across all institutes.
Those candidates appearing in Paper 2 alone and who are awarded ranks would be eligible for admission in Pharmacy courses.
The Requirements for filling the WBJEE Application Forms are as follows:
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- Scanned copy of photograph
- Scanned copy of signature
The Important Dates for WBJEE Examination are as follows:
- Last Date for filling online form and making payment: January 19, 2018
- Last Date for download of confirmation page: January 24, 2018
- Admit card Availability: April 10
- Exam would be conducted from April 22
- Result Declaration on June 5
