SNAP 2017 is scheduled on 17th December that will be conducted across the country for the admissions in Symbiosis International University. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) scores are also considered by other renowned B-Schools in India. Hence, SNAP is one of the preferred MBA entrance exam among the MBA aspirants.
To clear the SNAP 2017 exam, it is inevitable to analyse the SNAP exam pattern correctly. Without considering the SNAP exam pattern, the SNAP preparation and revision would be done in a distorted manner. Below is the in-depth analysis of the SNAP exam pattern-
1) The biggest challenge in the SNAP exam is to attempt 150 questions in 120 minutes. In SNAP exam, time management has a big role to play. The candidate needs to solve the maximum question with maximum accuracy in a given time frame.
2) There are 4 sections in the SNAP exam- General English, General Awareness, Quantitative Ability, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. From now onwards, the exam will be conducted in an Online mode which will create an additional challenge for the aspirants who are not in practice to solve the questions online.
3) 1 mark will be given for every right answer done while 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer marked.
4) Symbiosis Institutes do not consider the sectional cutoffs. They rather consider overall cutoff. The candidate has to plan the preparation in the direction of clearing the SNAP with overall cutoff.
5) Sections like Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning requires a lot of practice. Without practice, the time can not be managed while solving the paper.
6) For GK and Current Affairs section, the candidate must update himself with the latest trends in the news in congruence to the SNAP syllabus.
To boost the preparation, the basic concepts need to strengthen and the regular mock test will provide an extra edge to score good marks.
