SNAP 2019 Exam Pattern

SNAP Exam Pattern has been revised for the academic year 2019. SNAP Exam is an online test that comprises of two types of questions namely Normal questions and Special Questions. There have been a few changes in the pattern which differentiate SNAP 2019 from SNAP 2018. The test is being conducted in 92 cities across the country.

As per the information received by the conducting body i.e. SIU, SNAP Exam Pattern of 2019 will be as same as that of CAT 2019.

  • It is a computer-based test conducted online.
  • Time Duration is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.
  • To be conducted on 15th December 2019 from 2 PM to 4 PM.

SNAP Exam Pattern 2019

The question paper will consist of not only multiple-choice type questions but also questions which need to be answered by writing in the virtual keyboard appearing with these special types of questions.

There are total 115 questions which are to be completed in 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours of duration for maximum marks 150. The exam follows negative marking scheme. SNAP Exam is a computer-based test conducted online to determine the skills of candidates.

General English:

  • The SNAP General English section comprises of topics such as Verbal Ability, Verbal Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Grammar related questions, Vocabulary etc.
  • There are 30 questions in this section and each question carries 1 mark.

Quantitative & Data Interpretation:

  • The SNAP Quantitative & Data Interpretation section, as the name suggests comprises of both Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation questions.
  • The topics that are covered in this section are Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Time and Distance, Profit Loss, Percentage, Permutation and Combination, Probability, Graphs and Charts etc.
  • There are 35 questions in this section and each question carries 1 mark.

Analytical & Logical Reasoning:

  • This SNAP Analytical & Logical Reasoning section covers topics such as coding-decoding, Venn diagrams, cubes, inference and Judgements, Blood Relations, Verbal Analogy, Odd man out etc.
  • This section consists of 30 questions and each question carries 1mark.

General Awareness:

  • This SNAP General Awareness section covers all static general Knowledge topics ranging from History, Geography, Science, Politics, Economics and Business etc. All current Affairs are also an important part of this section.
  • There are 20 questions in this section which carry 1 mark each.
