SNAP Exam Pattern for the academic year 2020 has undergone drastic changes due to the outbreak of pandemic COVIC-19 across the world. The examination conducting authority SIU (Symbiosis International University) brings some changes in the pattern every year thus, keeping the legacy of constant changes. There have been some changes introduced in the SNAP Exam Pattern while compared to the last year's. This time, the exam is scheduled to be conducted thrice i.e. on 20th December 2020, 6th January 2021, and 9th January 2021. Candidates willing to take exam can apply for maximum two of the options available. Earlier the exam duration was 2 hours which has now been reduced to 1 hour.
SNAP Exam Pattern has been revised for the academic year 2020. SNAP Exam is an online test that comprises of two types of questions namely Normal questions and Special Questions. There have been a few changes in the pattern which differentiate SNAP 2020 from SNAP 2019. The test is being conducted in 94 cities across the country.

As per the information received by the conducting body i.e. SIU, SNAP Exam Pattern of 2020 will be different from the other MBA entrance examinations conducted for admission to MBA programs.
Mentioned below are the overall key changes introduced in the exam pattern of SNAP Exam:

SNAP Exam is scheduled to be conducted on three different days i.e. 20th December 2020, 6th January 2021, and 9th January 2021 through online mode.

Candidates can take SNAP Exam twice this time.

SNAP Exam duration has been reduced to 1 hour from 2 hours. The duration will be 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The total number of questions has been reduced to 60 from 110.

Best of the two performances of candidates out of the number of attempts they make will be considered final.

Candidates must process the payment of INR 1750 as application fee for each SNAP Exam.

Point to Consider for SNAP 2020 Exam Pattern:

SNAP Exam is a computer-based test conducted through online mode.

SNAP Exam duration has now been changed to 1 hour for all the three test dates.

Total number of questions in SNAP Exam 2020 has been reduced to 60 from 110.

The questions are of Multiple-Choice Questions type.

There used to b 5 special questions in SNAP Exam that has now been reduced to 0 i.e. there will be no special questions in SNAP Exam 2020.

No such changes in marking scheme. Each correct answer carries +1 mark and 1/4th of the total mark of a particular question will be deducted in case on every incorrect answer.
SIU used to conduct SNAP Exam through pen and paper-based mode but in the year 2017, the exam mode was changed to Computer based mode. The special type questions were introduced last year only and now the exam pattern has been totally changed.

Uniform Marking Scheme in SNAP 2020 Exam:
Just like the other National Level Management Entrance Examinations held across the country i.e. CAT/XAT/MAT, the exam pattern of SNAP Exam is divided in three different sections namely, Quant, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, and English. Current Affairs section has now been removed from the exam pattern along with reduction in total number of questions in the paper.
