SNAP Score vs Percentile 2022

Exam

The relationship between SNAP score and percentile 2022 changes every year because the difficulty level of the SNAP Exam varies from year to year. The percentiles of 99, 98, 97, and 95 correspond to 41, 39, 36, and 33 points, respectively. SNAP score 2022 is the score obtained by any student taking the SNAP 2022 exam by calculating the number of correct and incorrect responses marked.

The SNAP exam scores of all candidates are combined to create a percentile list. A merit list is created based on the SNAP percentile to shortlist candidates for further selection rounds. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) published the SNAP Result on its official website on January 10, 2023.

Students can now check their sectional and overall scores and estimate their chances of getting MBA admission into the SIU college of their choice now that the results have been released.

SNAP scores are computed using the exam's marking scheme. There is, however, no formula for calculating the SNAP percentile. It is determined by a number of factors, including the exam's difficulty level, the number of candidates taking the exam, and the previous year's cutoff. The SNAP 2022 exam for all three slots has now concluded. Slots 1–3 were held on December 10, 28, and 23, respectively.'

Understanding the relationship between the SNAP 2022 score and the SNAP 2022 percentile appears not only confusing but also complex to MBA candidates. "What is the difference between the SNAP score and the percentile, and which is more important?" they frequently wonder. We have provided a detailed analysis of SNAP score vs SNAP percentile to help you understand both.

How to Calculate SNAP 2022 Score?

SNAP Score is calculated based on the marking scheme of SNAP 2022. According to the SNAP Marking Scheme, candidates are awarded marks for every correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect response. The final SNAP Score is calculated using the below mentioned formula.

SNAP Score = No. of Correct Answers * 1 – No. of Incorrect Answers * 0.25

To determine the SNAP score, first total the number of correct responses. Then add up the total number of incorrect responses and multiply by 0.25 or divide by 4. Your SNAP score will be the result of subtracting the negative score from the positive score. Every candidate's SNAP score is reduced based on the total number of students who took the exam, the difficulty level, the availability of seats at SIU institutes, and other factors.
