NEET 2018: Cut-Off May Drop

NEET Entrance Examination was successfully conducted on May 6 for the academic year 2018. The official Answer Key for the same will soon be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As suggested by the experts, this year the Cut-Off for NEET 2018 examination is likely to drop.

The Physics section in NEET 2018 Question Paper was quite lengthy and involved long calculations because of which the students spent a lot of time-solving questions of this section.

The Biology section was innovative and involved a lot of analysis. This section included two questions based on zoology which was out of the syllabus. These are the few reasons considered responsible for the drop in the Cut-Off this year.

The experts consider NEET 2018 to be tougher than the previous year's paper and the notable increase in the number of applicants for NEET 2018 entrance examination are the main factors contributing to the drop in NEET 2018 Cut Off.

The Counselling for the NEET qualified candidates will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and various state counselling authorities. The Counselling will commence after the declaration of Results which is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2018.
